A new Cell C subscriber agreement in which the customer will accept all Terms and Conditions must be completed. If the customer enters into a subscriber agreement with Cell C during the month, the first month’s subscription fee will be prorated for that month. Thereafter, the customer will be billed monthly for the service subscription and will receive full allocation of the inclusive value (specific to the package subscribed to) on the first of each month. Cell C may amend, modify or otherwise change these Terms and Conditions in its sole and absolute discretion, and the amended version will be displayed in the same media as these Terms and Conditions. Cell C will notify the customer before Cell C amends or otherwise changes the Terms and Conditions. International calling and roaming are excluded from inclusive benefits. All standard Terms and Conditions of the Cell C Service Provider apply. Standard RICA rules and processes apply. All prices and usage rates advertised include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Contract Terms and Conditions SmartData Contract
SmartData contracts are available as either Postpaid or Top Up and are available as SIM only offers or deals with devices (as advertised). Monthly data will be equally allocated every month for the contract duration, other than in the first month when the data allocation and monthly subscription will be prorated according to the number of days remaining in the month. Data will be allocated on the first of every month at 00:00:00 and will be valid until the end of the next calendar month after which any unused data will expire. The monthly inclusive Nite data is only applicable to Postpaid contracts and can be used only between 12am and 6am. Nite data does not roll over and will expire at the end of the calendar month in which it was allocated. To use 4G, the customer must be provisioned for the 4G service on the Cell C network and must be in an area covered by Cell C 4G. The Cell C 4G coverage map can be found on the Cell C website at https://www.cellc.co.za/cellc/lte-home-coverage-map
MediaPlay
The MediaPlay packages are available on both Postpaid and Top Up for new and existing customers. The free daily data to stream black can be used for streaming and downloading content on black TV only. #FUP is 2GB/day for 1.5GB, 2GB,3GB, 4GB and 5GB plans; 4GB/day for the 10GB, 20GB and Unlimited plans. All data to stream black is for on-net use only (i.e. not for use on National Roaming). *Inclusive minutes exclude calls to 0860 and 0861 numbers. Calls to 0800 numbers are free and don’t deplete inclusive minutes. *A Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies on the unlimited inclusive minutes, SMS or data for the new MediaPlay plans. SMS FUP is 500/pm for 1.5GB, 2GB, 3GB and 4GB plans; 1000/pm for the 5GB, 10GB and 20GB plans, and 5000/pm for the Unlimited plan. Minutes FUP is 3000/pm Any-net and 3000/pm On-net for the 10GB and 20GB plans, and 5000/pm Any-net and 5000/pm On-net for the Unlimited plan. Data FUP for the Unlimited plan is 50GB/pm. UltraBonus

Fibre from Cell C month-to-month contracts:
Notwithstanding the date of the Fibre from Cell C installation, the use of the Fibre tariff plans from Cell C will be on a month-to-month basis, until such time as Fibre from Cell C is cancelled by either you or Cell C in accordance with the respective rights set out in these Terms and Conditions. Subject to a 24-month prorated clawback in the event of an early cancellation of the contract, i.e. the customer will be liable for the outstanding pro rata amount of the installation or connection or Wi-Fi router or black Set-top Box (as applicable) should they cancel the contract within the first 24-month period from the service activation date. Upon successful application for Fibre from Cell C, Cell C will deduct an equivalent of one month’s subscription fee (plus any other applicable costs) immediately from the customer’s credit card, as an upfront payment for the Fibre service from Cell C. In order to do so, Cell C will require the customer’s credit card details, in order to facilitate the upfront payment. In return for the provision of Services, you agree to pay the monthly Subscription Fee, which is billed to you in advance. The Subscription Fee that you pay at the end of a month is for the next month’s services. MediaPlay Fibre
It is important that you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Fibre Terms and Conditions (which are available on the Cell C website), in order to make use of the Cell C MediaPlay Fibre service. It is important that you understand that Cell C does not own the Fibre network, the Fibre lines or the Consumer Premises Equipment (“CPE”) installed at your premises and that these remain the property of the Fibre Network Operators (“FNO”) at all times. Notwithstanding the date of the Fibre line installation, the use of the MediaPlay Fibre tariff plans will be on a month-to-month basis, until such time as MediaPlay Fibre is cancelled by either you or Cell C in accordance with the respective rights set out in these Terms and Conditions. Subject to a 24-month prorated clawback in the event of an early cancellation of the contract, i.e. the customer will be liable for the outstanding pro rata amount of the installation, connection, Wi-Fi router or black Set-top Box (as applicable) should they cancel the contract within the first 24-month period from the service activation date. Upon successful application for MediaPlay Fibre, Cell C will deduct an equivalent of one month’s subscription fee (plus any other applicable costs) immediately from your credit card, as an upfront payment for the MediaPlay Fibre service. In order to do so, Cell C will require your credit card details, in order to facilitate the upfront payment. In return for the provision of Services, you agree to pay the monthly Subscription Fee, which is billed to you in advance. The Subscription Fee that you pay at the end of a month is for the next month’s services. The Connector mobile service offered on the MediaPlay Fibre tariff plan is offered on a SIM only basis. A mobile handset or device is not included as part of the mobile service and customers can purchase this separately. Port-IN of numbers is allowed for customers porting from other mobile operators to MediaPlay Fibre. Port-IN will only be initiated once the Fibre service is installed and active. The BINGE Premium entertainment package on black will be activated only once the Fibre line is installed and active. The Wi-Fi router, black Set-top Box and mobile SIM cards will be shipped to you only once the Fibre line is installed and active. E&OE applies.

CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans are offered only for “fixed” usage and are not suited for use on mobile/portable devices. CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA will only work on a- 4G enabled device coupled with a Cell C USIM. The CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans exclude voice usage. Multi-Data Connect is not compatible with CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans. CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans offer Fixed 4G only access with no fall back to 2G/3G. Should your Fixed 4G coverage be weak or fail, you will not have any 3G/2G coverage. Cell C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans do not support National Roaming on the MTN LTE network and are only supported on Cell C Fixed 4G network. There will be no national roaming on Vodacom on the CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans. It is very important that customers first confirm that they have sufficient Cell C Fixed 4G coverage before purchasing any of the Cell C MEDIAPLAY DATA plans. A 7-day Return Policy will be applicable where a customer’s fixed home/address was validated for Fixed 4G coverage and it turns out that the customer does not have Fixed 4G coverage at home. This must first be verified by a Cell C technician. A customer can then cancel their CELL C MEDIAPLAY DATA contract at the Cell Store, or by calling 084 145, within 7 (seven) days of purchase. You will need a Cell C USIM and a 4G-capable router to get started. Once you receive your SIM, insert it into your router and you will connect to the Cell C Fixed 4G network. Your first data bundle will be loaded as soon as your SIM is activated – this bundle will be prorated, depending on the days remaining in the month (your first month’s subscription is also prorated). Thereafter all new bundles will be allocated on the first of the month.
