The campus offers a variety of food outlets, and all students are required have a meal plan and can combine dining hall meals with ‘Flex Dollars’ to spend elsewhere on campus.
Briefly the capital of the State of Louisiana, Shreveport has a long history from before the Louisiana Purchase. Our rich culture retains influences from Spanish, French, African, and Native populations. Shreveport and its sister city, Bossier City – separated by the Red River – boast a significant number of festivals and special events throughout the year, so no matter what semesters you spend at Centenary, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained!
There are a large number of restaurants in the surrounding area as well, and Shreveport is known for its fusion of food cultures.
Centenary has more than 50 student organizations that welcome international students. Over 70% of students are involved in a variety of campus and community groups.
International visiting students may attend Centenary for a semester or an academic year as part of a partner university exchange program, or as independent fee-paying students.
Exchange students must be nominated by an exchange partner university or organization to qualify for a tuition waiver.
All visiting students are required to reside on campus and to purchase a meal plan.
All visiting students should prove financial support for the entire period of study, based on estimated costs.
* waived for nominated exchange students
