A Band named Trevor are an energetic fusion of blues and rock recreating the sounds of the delta blues with their own eccentric rock sound – staying true to the music of Muddy Waters, Chasin’ the Train, band rocking the crowds. Every set a memorable musical event, revisiting the best of the blues standards: B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters‌ the list is long, the excitement sustained.

COLLEEN FRICKER

Colleen Fricker is the Sydney Blues and Roots Festival’s local secret, and the only artist to have made a place on the line up every year since its beginning. With comparisons to Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin and Robert Plant it should come as no surprise that Colleen’s vocals are big, loud and emotionally raw. Couple that with addictive roots dance riffs under which runs a driving, foot stomping beat and you’ve got the perfect catchy

DAI PRITCHARD BAND

Anyone who’s seen Pritchard play will know that, for him, playing is still exhilarating, unadulterated fun best known for his incredible slide skills. He brings an incredible arsenal of technical expertise broad enough for him to slot in easily behind anyone that needs a slice of his power, versatility Pritchard gradually found himself the guitarist of choice by some pretty big names, among them Jimmy Barnes and Doug Parkinson. But it was his eight years playing with the late, great Billy Thorpe that consolidated his reputation as a hard-working power player, an association that took him around the country not only with Thorpe but as part of the incredibly successful Long Way To The Top. With numerous European tours and legendary festivals under his belt, Dai continues to raise the bar. He joins us again to the delight of his stalwart fans.
