A one year guarantee is extended on all wear and tear parts including sealants, waste clickers, membranes, all cartridges, diverters, flexible hoses, shower hoses and electronic components. The shower valve thermostatic cartridge especially in hard water areas should be removed and cleaned regularly, and the thermostatic control handle moved between maximum and minimum limits in accordance with our installation instructions to prevent the build up of limescale incrustation which could block up the thermostatic cartridge. Technological Finishes

Cifial are masters in technological finishes and can produce finishes that are more resistant to scratches and keep their brightness for much longer by a process called PVD. PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition - it is the highest quality in decorative coatings and is obtained by a physical vapour deposition of Zirconium, Titanium or other material. This finish increases the hardness and abrasion resistance. The hardness achieved is higher than 2500 Vickers and compared to the traditional electrolytic finishes, PVD increases to more than double the resistance time in the corrosion tests (Corrodkote, Aceptic Salt Spray and Cass Test). The excellent characteristics of this finish result in same colour and brightness for life, high resistance to oxidation by atmospheric agents, higher hardness that result on an excellent wear resistance. Finishes Cifial offer the highest quality electrolytic plating which are hand finished. With appropriate care and maintenance, CIFIAL products keep their original appearance for many years. In order to maintain their original surface finish you just need to follow some simple recommendations:

Always dry with soft cloth after use.

Rinse regularly with water and dry with a soft cloth

Never use abrasive cleaning products containing hydrochloric acid, bleach or other

inappropriate chemicals, including abrasive scouring pads.

Extra care should be taken if you live in a hard water area. Should limescale build-up

appear please clean with vinegar and rinse thoroughly with water. Dry with a soft cloth.

Extra care should also be taken when using personal toiletries such as toothpaste,

shower gels, soaps, etc as these can leave residue that may cause blemishes. Always make

sure surfaces are rinsed thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth.

For satin metal surfaces apply a little vaseline or wax to help maintain the brightness.
