trouble or to make him angry. Baker said it is important to reach out to an individual who is struggling to let that person know you care. And, she said to reach out to a trusted adult to get help and to keep asking until someone is willing to listen and understand. Especially considering the isolation brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic, Baker said, “A sense of connection is so critical to our mental health.” “Mental illness is like air; just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there; it’s all around us,” she said.

hree Democrat incumbents will be challenged by three Republican candidates in the November general election. Three four-year terms on the South Brunswick Township Council will be available. Incumbent Democrat Joe Camarota has been a resident of South Brunswick for 32 years. He is a family entertainment consultant. He has served on the council since 2005 as a Democratic councilman and as deputy mayor. He has been involved with South Brunswick’s Recreation Advisory Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Aquatic Task Force, Economic Development Committee, Kingston Village Advisory Committee, Municipal Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Board of Health, Transportation Advisory Committee, Task Force Opposing NESE, Mapleton Preserve Commission, Social Services Committee, VFW Post 9111, Hugs for Brady Foundation, St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church and Princeton Manor Homeowners Association. He has been involved in soccer and basketball leagues in North Brunswick, South Brunswick and East Brunswick. Camarota considers some of his greatest accomplishments over the years to be increasing the number of recreational and passive parks, upgrading and improving existing parks and the renovation of the township’s Community Center; Spearheading a project with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, after being told the project would not occur, to implement the Route 1 Shoulder Running Plan. As he struggled for three years, Kenny told his friends he had mononucleosis, afraid he would face judgment and criticism for his mental health issues. “Not only did Kenny have to wake up every single day and battle his severe biological brain illness, he had to go to school and live with stigma, the fear of being judged, of being criticized for having an

After three years of fighting, taking medications and being hospitalized, Baker said her son lost hope he would ever be healthy or normal. “All he wanted was to be like everybody else,” she said. Kenny took his own life on May 19, 2009. The day before her son died, Baker said, Kenny said goodbye to all his friends. She said it wasn’t until his wake was held that his friends told her they had a bad feeling, but did not want Kenny to get in

Six residents vie for three seats on South Brunswick school board

By JENNIFER AMATO Managing Editor

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Raja Krishna, Mike Mitchell and Smitha Raj will compete against incumbents Arthur Robinson, Deven Patel and Patrick Del Piano – who are running together on the same slate – for three, three-year seats on the South Brunswick Board of Education. Patrick Del Piano has lived in South Brunswick since 1984. He has four children, all of who graduated from South Brunswick High School. He is a retired Jersey City firefighter, and currently is the fire safety/security manager at Hudson County Community College. He has been a South Brunswick Police Athletic League Executive Board member since 1998. Del Piano has served on the school board for nine years. He said he is running for re-election because “it is important in these uncertain times that experience and leadership are needed to navigate the district.” He said the district’s response to COVID-19, particularly working with the superintendent and senior staff, ensured quality and delivery of curriculum, especially to at risk students and those in economically disadvantage situations. “With regards to real estate taxes I want to ensure that the district is making the best decision to maintain the quality education provided. At the same time we need to minimize the tax impact on our constituents,” he said. “The third item which is important to me is the social impact on students. I am glad to say we are moving forward with sports and extracurricular for students to be engaged. I am looking forward to working with my fellow board members and the district leadership in creating virtual social opportunities such as discussions, games and movies for students,” he said. Raja Krishna has lived in South Brunswick for 15 years. Both his children have studied in South Brunswick schools, from Kindergarten through high school; they are 2017 and 2018 graduates of SBHS. Krishna is vice president of Operations for a supply chain management company. He has been an Army officer for 14 years. He volunteered as a USA swimming official for three years, and has been affiliated with Princeton University swimming clubs. He has been the secretary and treasurer of the steering committee of Defense Services Officers Institute New Jersey for 10 years, serving the Tri-State Area. He has been part of the New Jersey Edison Cultural Organizing Committee for

Feder, and his team did a superb job in preparing our schools for reopening in September. Of course, we didn’t want to use the remote option to begin our school year, but uncertain conditions and the threat of the spread of this virus was too great to take chances of the health and lives of our students and staff. “Students and staff returning to buildings in November may be too soon. I don’t know. It’s impossible to have all of the answers right away and unfair to ask. If we continue to rely of the advice of those in the medical profession doing what’s best for our community then we stand less of a chance to error; and even if we do, error, we learn and continue moving forward. Mitchell said it is time to face systemic racism and confront it head on. “South Brunswick has become a very diverse community in the last few years so the need is there; however, it starts in the community. Forcing awareness and sensitivity training/classes on our students and staff is not the answer. Community-based programs which foster openness, allowing people from various ethnic backgrounds to experience the culture of others, would open the dialogue that is needed in schools with the adults and children. We must become accepting of each other’s differences and lifestyles to get along in the world – something that is crucial for our kids to learn,” he said. He also said if elected, he would address bridging the student achievement gap amongst Whites, African Americans/ Blacks, Hispanics and Asians. “It is my understanding that the first three groups are falling behind and there needs to be some kind of initiative set forth to change this. As stated earlier, South Brunswick Public Schools has the distinction of being one of the best in the state. We can only get better, but we need to address the issues that concern each and every group in our community, including our students with special needs,” he said. Deven M. Patel has lived in South Brunswick for 17 years. His 17-year-old triplets, one girl and two boys, are currently seniors at South Brunswick High School. He is a civil engineer for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He is a South Brunswick Board of Education member since April 2011. He is a member of the South Brunswick Transportation Advisory Committee, and had served as chairman for 5 years. He represents South Brunswick at the Middlesex County Transportation Committee. He is on the board of directors representing Middlesex County for the New Jersey School Board Association (NJSBA), (Continued on page 12)

Halloween Wholesalers tries to bring sense of normalcy to this year’s Halloween By JENNIFER AMATO Managing Editor

NORTH BRUNSWICK – Families can pick pumpkins outdoors to carve at home. Children want to dress up in costume. Families are having Zoom costume parties. “Halloween 2020, from a community standpoint, with Halloween being a major holiday, people want to celebrate. Even though things may look a little different this year, it’s important to allow family traditions to continue,” said Vincent Nicastro, whose Halloween Wholesalers store is open at The Shoppes at North Brunswick. “We encourage people to dress up this year, to have fun to take their mind off the things we have gone through this past year. Children and adults can celebrate safely at home. People can still dress up and walk outside while following social distancing. Families can carve a pumpkin together.”

Nicastro said he expects the most popular costumes this year to be “Black Panther” due to the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman; first responder costumes; family themed costumes like “The Incredibles” and Joe Exotic from the hit Netflix series “Tiger King.” “We think this year, families will be more excited to come out and celebrate after being cooped up at home for so long. They are looking forward for something to celebrate. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. When Halloween is on a Saturday people are usually off from work and more people participate in the holiday,” he said. Nicastro said Halloween Wholesalers will follow the latest protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which include, but are not limited to, requiring customers and

employees to wear a mask, sanitizing door handles and high traffic areas, and following social distancing procedures. “We will be implementing symptom screenings for all employees before the start of their shift. Hand sanitizer will be offered upon entering the store. We will not allow fitting rooms, but will allow exchanges,” Nicastro said. “From a business standpoint, we feel optimistic customers want some sort of

normalcy and will come out to purchase costumes and decorations for the house. We have lowered prices to help the community and help keep Halloween alive.” Halloween Wholesalers is in The Shoppes at North Brunswick, 774 Shoppes Blvd., North Brunswick. Dove Hospice Services of New Jersey seeks compassionate volunteers to provide support to local hospice patients and their families. Hospice patient care volunteers visit with patients in their homes, which can also be nursing facilities or assisted living facilities, at least once a week. They read to the patient, reminisce about their lives, play cards, help with letter writing and provide respite for caregivers. Visits can be virtual, and are either during the day or early evening. Volunteers may also assist with administrative work within the hospice office. Patient care volunteers complete an application and attend a virtual volunteer training program that covers the role of a hospice volunteer. Day and evening virtual training programs are offered. To sign up for the next virtual training class, contact Volunteer Coordinator Deborah Adams at 732-405-3035 or email deborah@dovehs.com.

perspective businesses in South Brunswick. Their increased and continuing presence in town has allowed the town to maintain a stable municipal tax rate; And being part of a collaborative team that assisted in having the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection deny the required permits for the Northeast Supply Enhancement Project this year. “I am very passionate when it comes to civic duty and responsibility. It is something that has consumed my entire adult life. Those choices have allowed me to use those experiences in my everyday decision making. “It also provided me with the needed balance to approach each decision with the necessary temperament that permits one to view each issue from every possible perspective. That enables me to provide the critical analysis needed to render a wellinformed decision,” Camarota said. “Having a strong educational background, combined with over 35 years of civic participation, and close to 50 years as a small business person, has provided me with the necessary skill set that is demanded from today’s local government officials. “Being able to work with the public and private sectors, understanding budgets,

having the correct temperament and realizing that being a councilperson is an honor and privilege and that we are only there to serve and represent the individuals of our community, is why I am running in this year’s election,” he said. Camarota said the health, safety and welfare of every resident in South Brunswick is of most paramount concern; while being fiscally responsible and keeping a stable municipal tax rate, to maintain a level of services, in particular, within the police, public works, health, EMS, fire and safety and transportation departments. “The devastating effect this insidious virus (COVID-19) has had on our community, state and country is still being assessed. Our Office of Emergency Management (OEM) continues to do outstanding work in diminishing the impact on South Brunswick in terms of reported cases and the mortality rate. “Their extraordinary and remarkable efforts, along with our township manager, police department, and health department has enabled able us to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 to the extent that New Jersey State Department of Health continues to list South Brunswick as having the virus suppressed at this time. “ Camarota also mentioned South Brunswick being the benchmark for affordability housing in New Jersey for the first two rounds. “And for Round 3, with the inability of

our state representatives to properly legislate this, thus losing their jurisdiction over this to our court system, we became the outliers. We will continue our efforts in working with the courts to establish a fair and reasonable number of needed units,” he said. Incumbent Archana (Ann) Grover has lived in town for 40 years. She is a purchasing specialist for Middlesex County. She also is a Notary Public. She volunteers at local temples and serves as a union leader in AFSCME Local 3440. She is the council liaison to the Commission on Women, Human Relations Committee and Environmental Board. She has served on the zoning board in the past. “The time I have spent on these various boards has emboldened my commitment to the township and helped me see how I can help our town be successful and ensure all voices are heard,” she said. Grover has been a county and township committee person since 1999, and has served on the Township Council since 2018. “As a councilwoman these last two years, I have been actively participating to ensure all voices are heard and to ensure all perspectives are considered on council matters. I enjoy doing this type of work to give back to my community which in turn has given my family and I so much,” she said. She is concerned about community

unity in town. “We are a very diverse community and I have and will continue to make every effort to work together with all residents to make South Brunswick one of the best places to live and raise a family,” she said. She said she wants to help keep South Brunswick a suburb. “We as a team want to keep South Brunswick a suburban community by ensuring no overcrowding and not put more burden on the current infrastructure. Our goal is to maintain stable municipal taxes, which are the lowest among comparable communities,” she said. She also wants to focus on proper spending. “With my background as a purchasing specialist, I will ensure we keep an eye on our spending while ensuring to provide excellent services such as our police/fire men and women, garbage pickup, recycling, snow plowing and maintenance of roads,” she said. In regards to the township’s response to COVID-19, Glover said, “The devastating effect of this dangerous virus has impacted the whole country and as well our township. Our township manager, along with our Office of Emergency Management, our police department and our health department, are doing a phenomenal job. New Jersey State Department of Health

continues to list South Brunswick as having the virus suppressed at this time.” Incumbent Jo Hochman has been a resident of South Brunswick 43 years. She is retired from Prevent Child Abuse NJ where she worked for 18 years as the coordinator of the EPIC (Every Person Influences Children) program. She was the coordinator/trainer both in South Brunswick as well as across the state. She has been involved in the town for more than 25 years. She was chair of the Municipal Alliance which oversees grant monies from the Board of Chosen Freeholders to present and offers programs to residents, as well as funds for Project Graduation. She was also a member of the Planning Board and served as its chairperson for seven years. She served on the Zoning Board of Adjustment when the Target shopping center was approved. She has served as councilwoman for the past 8 years. During this time, she was the liaison to The Shade Committee, The Human Relations Committee, Women’s Commission, and presently serve as liaison to the Arts Commission, Advisory Board of Health, NJ State Boards of Health, NJ League of Municipalities, and on the Library Board of Trustees. ) “I am very proud that the library was able to obtain a new Bookmobile that is much more reliable. The young readers as well as adults look forward to this library close to home. It’s also exciting to be a part of the expansion of the library. The South Brunswick Library, led by Director Chris Carbone, is one of the busiest places used in South Brunswick, with programs to meet the needs of young people, teens and

adults,” she said. Hochman said she is running for a third term as councilwoman “because there are still many projects to be done for our town. I still have a vision to continue with providing more services, activities, open space and keep the taxes affordable. “This has been a difficult time with the coronavirus impacting our lives. Our income from construction costs, hotel taxes, etc. were affected. However, we were able to scale back with the closing of the municipal building. Some of our capital projects had to be rescheduled for 2021. We are slowly reopening the library, the senior center, and indoor as well as outdoor dining. “We may have to make a few changes as we try to recover from the pandemic, but I do know that I will be ready to do whatever is necessary to meet our changing town,” she said. Mike Kushwarra (R) is a township native, living in South Brunswick for 60 years. He is a retired South Brunswick police sergeant and is now a security director. He is certified in public management. He is a 30-year member of the Transportation Advisory Board and is member of the USCG Auxiliary. Before the primary election in July, Kushwarra said he is running for election because he disagrees with the domination of government by one party, as he believes different opinions and perception of fairness are important. He said he wants the ability to be independent and do what is right for the township. Brian William Wojaczyk (R) has lived in South Brunswick for 17 years. He is a data manager and operations. He holds an MBA in finance, a PMP and various IT certifications.

He was a captain in medical services for the New Jersey Army National Guard from 2009-18. He is the founder and administrator of the Facebook group for South Brunswick with more than 6,000 active members. He has never held public office, but he was a candidate for the South Brunswick Township Council in 2016. Before the primary election in July, Wojaczyk said he does not feel “having a council 100% dominated by a single party is wise and only serves to marginalize citizens.” Wojaczyk said at the time that his key issue is focused on policing and security. “I believe the South Brunswick police force has and continues to do a fantastic and professional job of providing us all with a safe and secure environment. However, national events over the last few weeks and even decades have shown that police forces in general have been tasked to deal with a great majority of issues in our society for which they may not be the best equipped to handle. “We need to systemically evaluate the policies and methods regarding policies and training. An example of local programs I believe would be beneficial for all is revisiting a volunteer police auxiliary program staffed by citizens and administered by the South Brunswick Police Department,” he said. He said he will also work on the tax

NS SENTINEL 11

policy. “My political position is that the government should be as small as possible and only as large as necessary. I am not a proponent of high taxation, but I believe the majority of the tax burden should be as close to the people as possible – the local level – where it affects the people the most. The tax rate should continually be scrutinized and only be raised if necessary.” He is also concerned with services, he said before the primary. “As with the above topic of taxes, I believe local services are paramount. Parks, waste removal, streets and security are all services that directly affect all residents. However, we should be vigilant as to how to use tax dollars. Waste should continually be minimized and services and programs that are underused or inefficiently operated should be curtailed or eliminated so other programs can benefit and taxes can be held down,” he said. He also said he will give his attention to the township’s debt. “As a fiscal conservative, I am always concerned with the amount of municipal debt we have been incurring. I believe this is a subject that does not get enough scrutiny,” he said. Republican Julie Ferrara could not be reached by press time. Kushwarra and Wojaczyk could not be reached for further comment.

and is part of the NJSBA Health and Wellness Steering Committee He coached soccer for 6 years for the South Brunswick Soccer Club. “COVID-19 situations caused many problems to the school district which included re-opening of schools, financial hardship for the school district. Being an incumbent helps me to tackle these issues since we all are working on it. All board members have knowledge and communication channels established with the legislators or Department of Education, which helps to resolve issues faster. I am sure that my 9-plus years of experience as a school board member, I can help the district tackle issues,” Patel said as to why he is running for re-elction. His first key issue is school funding. “According to the governor’s budget, K-12 school aid will be ‘flat,’ at about $8.7 billion for the 2020-21 school year. The reallocation of aid mandated by S-2 will continue. This means that the 196 socalled ‘overfunded’ public school districts saw cuts in state aid this year as they to reopen and face added costs brought on by the COVID-19 crisis. Saying that, the South Brunswick School District (SBSD) suffered about a $2 million loss in state aid. In addition, the SBSD lost another $500,000 in youth-based mental health funding, which provides great support to our children of the SBSD. We need to work with the legislators to get funding back,” he said. Another hot button issue this year, Patel said racial justice needs to be addressed. “South Brunswick is remarkably diverse community and THE entire community is working together. However, there is area of improvement in education. We need to teach our children history of all ethnic backgroundS, race, gender history, and teaching about love and acceptance,” he said. Both issues go along with equity in education. “SBSD [has been] constantly working on this issue for many years. SBSD created an Equity Committee and involved parents, students, teachers, school administrators, Board of Education members. am part of this committee as well. This committee worked on opening doors to many students to take Advanced Placement courses, honors courses without lowering the standards. We still need to work as a community to fill the gap and help those students who can do better in life,” he said. Smitha Raj, PhD, has lived in South Brunswick for almost seven years. She works as a statistical programmer. She has a sixth grader who attends Crossroads Middle School South.

NEWSPAPER MEDIA GROUP • www.centraljersey.com

“Community service is something that is very close to my heart. I have volunteered for many causes and campaigns over the years. I was a volunteer teacher in our local language school for two years, as long as we had enrollments. I was also one of the first in our community to bring the Williams compressor 206 to the attention of the residents of our community. I participated in numerous meetings against the compressor station, knocked on doors, distributed brochures, ran a Facebook page, etc., for the cause,” she said. Raj said she decided to run for the school board because “the current situation has been very challenging for all of us given that in-person learning as we knew is no longer a safe option. Parents are struggling to balance work (either on site or from home) while our students are into remote learning. Effective learning is hampered by technical glitches, distractions at home and availability of uninterrupted internet, especially among the younger students. The students are also missing crucial personal interaction with their peers. Educators are also challenged in every step of the way, from technical glitches to holding the attention of their students who are physically far away. “As taxpayers we are all worried about the consequence of the looming budget cuts and its implications on our property taxes. Essentially, all stakeholders are affected one way or the other. These concerns motivated me to run so that I can do my bit and give back to my wonderful South Brunswick community that has given us so much and try my best to ensure high quality of education for our students, a safe learningteaching environment for our students and educators without any increase the burden property taxes for our residents,” she said. Raj said one area of concern lies in the educational and social impacts from the novel coronavirus pandemic. “South Brunswick is currently 100% remote due to the COVID-19 situation. While that ensures the safety of our educators and students to some extent, it has thrown other challenges at us. How do we ensure that students continue to learn effectively given the technical glitches, the distractions at home, inequitable internet access during times when their personal interaction with their peers is greatly reduced? We also have to navigate the mental health implications in the light of our student’s altered social life, something according to experts we are not prepared enough for. The other concern is, how and when do we transition into in person learning keeping our students and educators safe? “We should encourage all stakeholders to be transparent and be vocal about their concerns, keep the communication lines open and come together as a community to navigate these challenges,” she said.

There are economic, global and local impacts as well. “Among other problems, there are supply chain disruptions, severely constrained service sector, record high unemployment, and lack of demand. It is an unfortunate reality that many of our local businesses could not survive the stresses imposed by the pandemic. All these factors will not only have an implication on families trying to put food on their table, pay their bills and try to stay afloat, but also implication on our tax revenues at all levels. For our school district this is unfortunate because South Brunswick, like many other school districts, is looking at New Jersey state aid budget cuts. “The least we can do right now is support our local businesses, look after each other as best as we can and encourage our community to initiate and continue the dialogue on how to enable our students to learn effectively given the constraints imposed by both the pandemic and looming budget cuts,” she said. She also said systemic racism exists and needs to be addressed. “The issue can be addressed only if we acknowledge its existence. It is a heartening development that public discourse of late has largely been acknowledging it. The issue is also very important in a community like South Brunswick with a significant minority population. Minority enrollment in South Brunswick High School is as high as 72%. “The onus is on us to ensure that all our residents are treated with respect, as should every student and educator. We need to ensure that our curriculum is inclusive and diverse and that it empowers our students with knowledge as well as confidence to be their own person, all this while ensuring that every student has access to the same high-quality education that brings out the best in them,” she said. Arthur L. Robinson has lived in South Brunswick for 30 years. His son graduated from South Brunswick High School in 2007. Robinson is a manager and retired U.S. Navy commander for Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a certified public manager

for the Food and Drug Administration, commission for the State of New Jersey Radiological Health Program. Robinson has been a member of the South Brunswick Board of Education since 2008, and is the current vice president. He is a member of the U.S. Veteran of Foreign Wars of the United States, South Brunswick Post 9111; and is a former auxiliary member for the South Brunswick Lions Club. “I’m running for re-election to the board to provide continuity and leadership as the district faces challenges of trying to return to normal or near normal during the COVID-19 pandemic and to continue providing a quality education for our children’s future whether through trade school, college or military service,” he said. Robinson said the three issues that are most important to him and his campaign are a quality education for each and every child in order for him or her to succeed in any career path chosen in life; adequate resources for special education services; and personalized academic improvement measures for each and every child through parent and teacher involvement K-12. “I would continue to work with my colleagues on the board and our community to ensure that each and every child has the necessary skills to exceed academically for college or develop skills for trade school. “I would continue working with the board to ensure adequate resources are available to assist our kids requiring special services. In addition, I would continue my advocacy for kids that deserve caring attention to succeed in life. “I would continue working with the board to track the academic performance of each cohort of kids K-12 to ensure that testing measures are meaningful in deter-A mining the academic progress of each kid.1 As the struggle continues for equal justice6 and economic prosperity for all people, we9 must instill in each and every heart thatc1 caring for another human being is not by1 just speech but by deeds of good will. As1 the late Congressman John Lewis of Geor-w gia said, it’s okay to get into some ‘good1 1 trouble.’ ” Robinson said.

Mental health (Continued from page 1)

Baker said one in five youths deal with mental health conditions, but less than one-third of those individuals reach out for help. She said although people do not hesitate to see a doctor for a physical medical treatment, mental health carries a lot of stigma. Yet she said suicide is preventable, as it is an ugly illness in the brain that lies to the person, convincing them they do not deserve help. “You can help save a friend’s life, she said. The Rutgers School Based Youth Services that the South Brunswick School District employs includes the BRIDGE Center (Building Respect, Independence, Diversity, Growth, Education), which provides counseling, substance abuse education and prevention, employment counseling, health awareness, and linkage to other supports at no cost to the student, at Crossroads Middle School North and South, and at South Brunswick High School. “If Kenny had access [to this program], I feel he would be alive today, Baker said; Kenny was a lifelong Plainsboro resident. Kenny’s father Kurt also touted South Brunswick’s program. He said the first time Kenny was hospitalized was a 24hour process that was “traumatizing. He said when services start in the schools, it becomes normalized and helps children where they are. He said students need a positive, hopeful process. “I can’t overemphasize how important it is, he said. Novenas PRAYER IS POWERFUL Oh, most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine of splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein you are my Mother. Oh, Holy Mary Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth! I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in this petition. There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, show me herein you are my Mother. Oh Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse in thee (3Xs). Holy Mother, I place this cause in your hands (3Xs). Holy Spirit, you who solve all problems, light all roads so I can attain my goal. You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all instances in my life you are with me, I want in this short prayer to thank you for all things as you confirm once again that I never want to be separated from you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. + Say this prayer 3 consecutive days and publish prayer after petition is granted. Do not despair. Additional advice and petition. Pray the Rosary regularly. F.A.M.

PRAYER TO ST. JUDE Oh Holy St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr, great in virtue and rich in miracles, near Kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your special patronage in time of need, to you I have recourse from the depth of my heart and humbly beg to whom God has given such great power to come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition. In return, I promise to make your name known and cause you to be invoked. Say three Our Fathers, three Hail Marys and Glorias. Publication must be promised. St. Jude pray for us all who invoke your aid. Amen. This Novena has never been known to fail. This Novena must be said for 9 consecutive days. Thanks.
