Exclusive Private Parties If you’re looking for a unique venue for your company party, look no further than Life! Our extraordinary Science Centre can cater for up to 350 guests for dinner or up to 600 for a buffet. The Scotswood Suite can cater for up to 240 guests for a dinner or hot fork buffet. All packages include a complimentary glass of wine or bottle of beer on arrival, and a DJ and disco. You can choose to add all sorts of extras for an additional cost like casino tables, Formula 1 driving simulators and a trip on our 4D Motion Ride – the only one in the North East - showing Night at the Toy Store throughout the festive period. Skating@Life For an alternative to over-indulging in festive fare, put your Christmas party plans on ice. Hire our open air ice rink for an exclusive skate - ideal for groups of all ages and sizes.
Exclusive hire of rink: ÂŁ495 1 hour, maximum 100 people, includes skate hire. Add a 4D Motion Ride: from ÂŁ100 Showing Night at the Toy Store throughout the festive period.
Complete the experience with your choice of food and drink: Option 1: £2.95 per person Deluxe hot chocolate and a cookie. Option 2: £5.99 per person Hot roast meat sandwiches in warm ciabatta bread (vegetarian option available) with a choice of tea or coffee, plus hot chocolate and a cookie during or after your skate. Option 3: £5.00 per person Mulled wine and mince pies.

Terms and Conditions of Booking • All of the party packages listed in the brochure are subject to availability. • Bookings cannot be confirmed without a £10 deposit per person. • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. • Provisional reservations must be confirmed within 14 days of the initial reservation and will be deemed invalid if formal confirmation is not received within those 14 days. • Final numbers must be confirmed and full payment received four weeks before your event. • Any non-attendance or reduced numbers after the balance due date will still be subject to payment. • All monies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for lost deposits. Should your numbers reduce, the monies lost cannot be used against wine, drinks or the final balance. Party organisers are advised to inform all members of their party of this policy. • Please advise us in advance if you have anyone in your party with specific dietary requirements. • With the exception of specified arrival drinks, drinks are not included in the package price. • Only alcohol purchased from Life Conference and Banqueting may be consumed on the premises. • Private parties are welcome and are accepted on an agreed minimum number. • All guests attending a function must dine with us. Please note that there will be no admission to guests attending lunches after 1.00pm and evening events after 9.00pm unless this has been previously arranged with the management. • All information is correct at the time of going to print. The management reserve the right to amend or cancel events without prior notification. • Management reserve the right to cancel events should minimum numbers not be achieved. We will endeavour to offer an alternative date/event of the same or higher value. • Deposits and pre-payments are refundable for events cancelled by Life Conference and Banqueting. • All prices include VAT at the current rate.
