The Exhibition of Real Human Bodies

Times Square, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4EP life.org.uk

One ticket gets you everything! Life Science Centre is an award-winning attraction and a great value day out for families and adults too. One ticket gets you exhibitions, theatre shows, the planetarium and the 4D Motion Ride* - the only one in the North East!

The Exhibition of Real Human Bodies

BODY WORLDS Vital is an awe-inspiring journey through the human body, celebrating its complexity, beauty and potential. BODY WORLDS Vital brings together a collection of real human bodies, specimens and organs which have been willed by donors and preserved through plastination, a ground-breaking preservation method invented by Dr. Gunther von Hagens.

Visiting with children? Given the nature of the BODY WORLDS Vital exhibits, it is up to parents, guardians, or school staff to decide whether the exhibition is appropriate for the children in their care. As a guideline, we suggest that BODY WORLDS Vital is of particular interest to children aged 8 and over, and adults of all ages. This is for guidance only - you know your children best. We advise that all children are accompanied by an adult. If you are considering bringing children or school groups to BODY WORLDS Vital, please refer to our online guides which have been developed to help you make the most of your visit: life.org.uk/body-worlds

The Centre for Life is a registered charity (no.1059607). As we’re a charity, Science Centre tickets include a voluntary 10% donation which allows us to claim an extra 25p in every pound from the Government, providing the donor is a UK tax payer. It’s called a Gift Aid visit and it makes a huge difference to charities like us. To enable us to reclaim your Gift Aid, you must be paying an amount of income or capital gains tax at least equal to or greater than the amount of this donation. If you want to opt out of the donation, admission charges to the Science Centre are: adult £10.85, concession £8.60, family £26.50 and child £6.85. All information correct at time of going to print.
