1st Annual Startup Simulation Challenge Taking March Madness to the next level! CEO members finally have the chance to compete head-to-head against teams from other chapters around the world to see whose entrepreneurial skills really reign supreme! 2011 National CEO Conference Fort Worth, Texas, October 27-29, 2011 We are looking forward to the 2011 National CEO th Conference that will take place from October 27 to th the 29 in….FORT WORTH, TEXAS! As you may know, Fort Worth is home to one of CEO’s premier chapters -- Texas Christian University! (You may remember their purple shirts at previous National Conferences!) TCU has been recognized as a leading and innovative CEO Chapter, having won many National Chapter awards, and now they are excited to have you and CEO join them in Fort Worth for an even bigger and better National Conference! Once again, the 2011 National CEO Conference will include the National Elevator Pitch Competition, chapter awards, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), exhibits, networking opportunities, inspiring and successful entrepreneurial speakers, and much more! The National Conference is a great experience for all college students, especially those who want to learn more about starting their own business while in school or after graduation, or about how to take their current business to the next level. There are plenty of opportunities for student involvement at the National Conference, from competing in one of the competitions to being a moderator for a session.
Using Marketplace Live, this is a two round competition that simulates running a startup company and is based on making real world entrepreneurial business decisions. The top 6 teams from Round 1 will advance to the Final Round, which features a more complex game environment and a virtual business video pitch given to a panel of successful entrepreneurial judges, including: Michael DeLazzer An Original Founding Member of Redbox and 2010 CEO Hall of Fame Inductee
