National Elevator Pitch Competition Pitch to Win! The National Elevator Pitch Competition is back to crown another winner and another great idea! The top prize will win $3,500 and national recognition! View all competition details here. Individual students can access the online application to pitch their current business or idea here. The last day th to apply is October 11 . The top 60 participants who will pitch live at the th conference will be notified by October 16 . To apply, you simply need to be a student member attending the CEO Conference and running an active business that is earning sales revenue (no limit or specific amount of sales required). At the 2013 National CEO Conference, you will have the opportunity to compete in the Regional GSEA st Competition on Friday, November 1 . As long as you are an undergraduate student who has a business that is generating at least $1 in revenue, you can apply!

On Thursday, October 31 (yes, Halloween!) join us for a fun networking kick-off event from 5-7pm that will follow the Chapter Development & Leadership sessions. Win prizes, raffles, connect with exhibitors and meet other attendees before the main conference activities start the next day. It’s free to all conference attendees, so stop by and see who you meet!

Throughout the conference, a Mentor Room will be available for you to sit down one-on-one or in small groups with some of our prestigious speakers. Ask questions, pick their brain, or just develop a relationship with them. This is a great way to get to know our speakers in a more personal setting. This room is a great place to stay and hang out or come and go as you please.

We’ll also feature special topical mentoring themes, such as legal advice during with law students from Northwestern University will be on-site to answer any legal questions, concerns or topics you’d like to know more about. Details will be listed in the conference program.

SEA Artist Entrepreneurs CEO is again partnering with SelfEmployment in the Arts to bring you a special arts track session throughout the conference. If you are a performing or visual artist, musician, actor, photographer, designer, or have a creative interest that you’d like to pursue as a career or make a side business out of, entrepreneurs in these industries will be speaking throughout the conference and available for special one-on-one round tables to give you the insight to maximize your artistic talents!

Chapter Development Thursday Leadership Sessions st

The conference kicks-off on Thursday, Oct. 31 with special leadership and chapter development sessions. As a club leader on your campus, we highly recommend you attend these sessions! This is a great way to learn tips from successful chapters across the country and gain valuable leadership training to take back to your campus. It’s also a great way to meet CEO leaders from other schools! All conference registrants are welcome to attend these development sessions.

We are thrilled to have amazing entrepreneurial speakers coming to this year’s CEO Conference! We’ve refreshed the speaker line up and are bringing in fantastically successful entrepreneurs to share their insights and experiences with you! From Norm Brodsky and Zoe Damacela, to Michael Houlihan and Jon Morris, we have over 70 great entrepreneurs from around the country that you’ll be able to hear from and meet!
