In occasione della Design Week 2023 le strade di Mirage e dell’Università degli Studi di Milano si intrecciano in una serie di progetti e incontri volti a raccontare il nostro impegno tra ricerca, design e sostenibilità ambientale.
All’interno del Cortile d’Onore viene presentata l’installazione
A Theater To Save The Planet, ideata da Andrea Boschetti, animata con il supporto dell’associazione no profit Save the Planet e Mirage.
L’installazione è realizzata con container che provengono da recuperi in mare, riutilizzati dopo un restauro e riportati quindi a nuova vita. Un’architettura/contenitore in forma di teatro che ospita storie e spettacoli per sensibilizzare le persone nella tutela dell’ambiente che abitiamo, sempre più compromesso.
L’Aula del Senato Accademico sarà inoltre la cornice di un Workshop dedicato al tema del social housing nel quale relatori provenienti da diversi settori si alterneranno in un dialogo aperto, dove ognuno fornirà spunti e punti di vista su quanto necessario per affrontare una sfida così importante.

During Design Week 2023 the paths of Mirage and the University of Milan will cross in a set of projects and meetings aimed to explain our commitment to research, design and environmental sustainability.
Inside Cortile d’Onore, the installation
A Theater To Save The Planet is presented, created by Andrea Boschetti, brought to life with the support of the Save the Planet non-profit association and Mirage.
The installation is made with containers that come from sea salvages, reused after a restoration and the brought back to life. An architecture/container in the form of a theater that will host stories and performances to make people aware of the need to protect the environment we inhabit, which is increasingly under threat.
In addition, the lecture hall of the Academic Senate will host a Workshop dedicated to the topic of social housing in which speakers from different fields will exchange ideas and points of view on what is needed to tackle such an important challenge.

Nato dalla collaborazione tra Mirage, Istituto Marangoni Milano e con la direzione artistica di Giulio Cappellini, Mirage Expansion è un progetto dedicato agli Alumni del Progetto Prisma, incaricati di disegnare e sviluppare una collezione di arredi e accessori con protagoniste le superfici in gres porcellanato Mirage.
L’installazione racconta il percorso creativo del progetto attraverso video, contributi e un’installazione di prototipi dei progetti più promettenti.
Born from the collaboration between Mirage, Istituto Marangoni Milano and with the artistic direction of Giulio Cappellini, Mirage Expansion is a project dedicated to the Alumni of the Prisma Project, who have been entrusted with the task of designing and developing a collection of furnishings and accessories in which Mirage porcelain stoneware surfaces are the main elements.
The installation chronicles the project’s creative journey through videos, contributions and an installation of prototypes of the most promising projects.
Situato in pieno Brera Design District, il Mirage Project Point è uno spazio multifunzionale di condivisione e progettazione. Al suo interno è possibile visualizzare colori e superfici, provare accostamenti, informarsi sulle ultime novità, trovare soluzioni tecniche personalizzate, visionare le superfici e le soluzioni in gres porcellanato Mirage.
Located in the heart of the Brera Design District, the Mirage Project Point is a multifunctional space for sharing and designing. Inside, it is possible to view colors and surfaces, try out combinations, learn about the latest innovations, find customized technical solutions, and to view and obtain samples of Mirage porcelain stoneware surfaces.
