Arches National Park
Home to the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches, this “miracle of nature” is 73,000 acres of red, arid desert. Discover over 2,000 eroded sandstone forms such as pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks and arches. Enjoy hiking around the park through various labyrinths and trails, located just five miles from Moab. Bryce Canyon National Park

Canyonlands National Park
Canyons and plateaus carved by two major rivers – the Colorado and the Green – make for some of the most challenging 4X4 roads and whitewater rapids in the world. The rivers divide the park into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze and the rivers themselves. Explore all districts and find countless canyons, tributaries and buttes. Capitol Reef National Park
This Park is characterized by sandstone formations, spectacular colored cliffs and canyons, and a 100-mile-long buckling in the earth’s crust called the Waterpocket Fold. Erosion has carved the rock into marvelous shapes. Since its designation as a national park in 1971, the majesty of Capitol Reef has been intriguing visitors with its spectacular landscape. Moab’s Scenic Byway 128
The Moab region has three scenic byways. This spectacular route along the Colorado River gorge begins at the Colorado River Bridge on the north end of Moab and winds along the Colorado River through a narrow section of the gorge providing spectacular views of the sandstone cliffs. The highway continues past Castle and Professor Valleys. There’s a great viewpoint for the Fisher Towers. The northern part of the drive exists the gorge and connects with Interstate 70.
