50 West North Temple is the symbolic heart of the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Mormons. The square includes the six-spired Temple, Tabernacle, Assembly Hall, information centers, gardens and monuments. There are 3 entrances where hosts assist visitors in finding tours, concerts or other information. Several types of tours are offered from 9am to 8:15pm, 7 days a week. (800) 537-9703 x4
Brian Head Resort A year-round resort offering a host of winter and summer activities. Ski resort has 6 chair lifts & is the highest resort in Utah. Snowboard park, ice skating and night skiing. Lake Powell 186 miles long, Lake Powell is the second largest man-made reservoir in the world. Open year-round for all water sports activities including houseboating, water skiing, swimming, fishing, camping. Boat rentals and tours available at several marinas. Zion National Park Zion Canyon Visitors Center is open year-round 8-5 daily. The park is accessible on Scenic Byway 9 from I-15 on the west, or US 89 at Mt. Carmel Junction. (435) 772-3256 Be sure to see the following sights in Zion:
Cedar Breaks National Monument Located in the high country north of Zion. Features a multicolored limestone amphitheater surrounded by cool forests and meadows. Scenic drive, picnicking, camping, hiking trails and visitor center. Closed during winter due to snow. Call (435) 586-9451
Kolob Canyons Features spectacular narrow canyons and brightly colored, towering vertical cliffs. Excellent views from 5-mile scenic drive. Picnic area and hiking trails. Kolob Canyons Visitor Center is open 8-6 daily. Call (435) 586-9548
