The Democratic Republic of the Congo Since July 2016, UNMAS DRC has:

47 Mission requests for explosive hazard management support resulting in 75 explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) spot tasks, including the destruction of: 4 weapons, 2,728 ERW 170,279 rounds of small arms ammunition. Five 700 and 2,000-weapons armouries built in Ituri and South Kivu provinces for the PNC and three armouries refurbished in North Kivu province, in collaboration with UNPOL. 60 national police officers trained in weapons and ammunition management, basic weapons safety handling and weapons marking in Bukavu, South Kivu and Bunia, Ituri, in collaboration with UNPOL.
