RESEARCH

In library classes, using engaging texts and resources, students have researched adventure and horror fiction genre elements. Students also completed three webquests that consisted of information about seven holidays around the world.

READING

Our three-story library has a wide range of text sections for our students. In addition, our 4th-6th graders have high usage in Sora, our digital platform for eBooks and audiobooks.

VIRTUAL REALITY

Students at the Intermediate School have travelled over space and time, all within their classsrooms, with our virtual reality headsets!

STEM CONNECTION TO TEXTS

Our students did a fabulous job creating balloons for Thanksgiving. They used their critical thinking and creativity to create devices that allowed the balloons to stand upright. We paired this activity with the 2011 picture book Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet to help students make connections to the STEM activity.
