Many families say meditation and mindfulness help their child focus, cope with stress, and “quiet the mind.” These apps can help your child learn to meditate and be mindful. Many of them include guided meditations.
Sesame Street app it’s great for introducing very young children to the concept of calming down through breathing. The app teaches kids the “Breathe, Think, Do” method. Kids help an animated monster facing a frustrating situation to calm down by taking long, deep breaths. Afterwards, they help the monster think of a solution and do it.

Smiling Mind offers hundreds of mindfulness activities for children of all ages. In addition to breathing meditations, the app has sensory exercises, like listening to music. The app also keeps track of when kids meditate.

Super Stretch Yoga HD can help children learn the importance of relaxation and breathing. The app teaches children how to do 12 different yoga poses. Each pose is introduced with a short animation, a live video with a child doing the pose, and an explanation. Super Stretch Yoga HD is best for kids in grade school and Pre-K.

This free journaling app can help children build mindfulness based on a simple premise: If children write down three good things that happen to them each day, they’ll feel happier. They can use the app to set a reminder to write each day, and they can look over past journal entries.

Calm is a meditation, sleep and relaxation app. Calm creates unique audio content that strengthens mental fitness and tackles some of the biggest mental health challenges of today: stress, anxiety, insomnia, and depression. The most popular feature on Calm is a 10-minute meditation called, 'The Daily Calm,' that explores a fresh mindful theme and inspiring concept each day. The Calm app is free to download and some free content is available, but a paid subscription to Calm Premium unlocks access to Calm's entire content library.

UCLA Mindful app helps you learn to focus on your breath, your body, or sounds; work with difficult emotions; and cultivate loving-kindness in sessions ranging from 3 to 19 minutes long. The app also offers longer meditations that it calls “podcasts.” These are half-hour audio recordings of meditations that include talks, typically by UCLA Director of Mindfulness Education Diana Winston, before and after the meditation.

Mindful Powers is a good app for introducing grade-schoolers to mindfulness. It guides children through a series of meditations, called “stories”. Kids work with a Stop, Breathe & Think is a simple meditation app for children in middle school and older. “Flibbertigibbet,” a cute round sea creature that helps them stay focused and breathe. The app uses a child’s voice, and it has a youthful look and feel.

Kids can share how their mind and body are feeling, and the app suggests a meditation based on that. The app also tracks total meditation time and how “settled” children report they feel.

Healthy Minds Program app wants to help you develop the skills for a healthy mind, by decreasing stress, and growing resilience, compassion, and better immune health. The app is organized into four pillars: Awareness, Connection, Insight, and Purpose.

Headspace is a meditation and mindfulness app. They offer guided meditations, animations, articles and videos. Using Headspace you can learn the essentials of meditation and mindfulness with their free Basics course, but you will need to subscribe for regular use.

Relax Now is an app that gives you a quick tool to help your body relax. Eight different videos provide immediate relief, but you'll also find plenty of recordings with multiple endings designed to either energize ("wake up") or calm you ("sleep").

Dreamy Kid can help children live healthier, happier lives with 10 minutes of practice a day. This free basic app with subscription plans offers meditation for children ages 3–17, including guided sessions, affirmations and self-esteem exercises, healing activities that get kids moving, and issue-based meditations to tackle challenges like anxiety or ADHD.

PETIT BAMBOU It's particularly well suited to children. There’re guided meditation sessions for adults, but children will love the relaxing sounds feature of the app, which allows them to hone in on a cartoonish scene come to life (like a roaring fireplace, or a rainstorm) that definitely inspires tranquility.

Insight Timer app, as well as the ability to refine sessions based on how long you have to practice. Furthermore, it comes with an in-app progress keeper that enables you to chart your progress and earn badges for the time you've spent meditating.

MINDFULLNESS It is an app for people who has previously practiced meditation. Rothman says it allows you to create a custom session with flexible time periods, from 3 to 30 minutes in length, and select sounds like bells to best fit your needs.

Las meditaciones están bien y son agradables al oído. No te deja avanzar si no haces la meditación del día. El tono de voz de la chica es agradable y usa un lenguaje coloquial, nada de expresiones rimbombantes ni con falsas expectativas.

Aplicación genial para gestionar tus tiempos cuando meditas a tu ritmo. Es una app de Timmer o reloj que te avisa. Es muy sencilla y le puedes añadir sonidos de olas de la playa, de la noche o de pajaritos.

Esta app es como una red social de meditación y relajación. Es muy completa. Puedes encontrar meditaciones en más de 20 idiomas. También música y mantras.

Esta no es una app propiamente. Es una web/plataforma de audios en español. La versión app está muy lograda. No es solo de meditación. Tiene cantidad de canales con audios de meditaciones guiadas.
