A Manitoba First for Rural Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

Community Futures Manitoba - Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program is pleased to announce that we are now featuring eSSENTIAL Accessibility™ on our website. Community Futures Manitoba(CFM) is the first Manitoba-based organization to feature this free accessible software application to assist Manitobans to access information about starting a business in rural Manitoba. “We welcome CFM as the first Manitoba-based organization to join this initiative. By demonstrating best practices for outreach activities and raising awareness, they are setting a progressive example in the communities they serve.” - Simon Dermer, Managing Director, eSSENTIAL Accessibility™ The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program is provided in rural Manitoba by 16 Community Futures offices. The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program offers business services to anyone with a health condition or disability who is interested in starting or expanding a viable business. One of the key steps to starting a business is doing research and gathering information. CFM's website has links to numerous organizations and government programs to support Entrepreneurs with Disabilities. Now that CFM is featuring eSSENTIAL Accessibility™, the business information and links are more accessible to people with physical disabilities. eSSENTIAL Accessibility™ is the foundation of a Disability Community Involvement initiative sponsored by March of Dimes Canada.
