OUR PROMISE TO THE ENTIRE COUNTY

As the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, we make an effort to improve the quality of life of residents in the city and in the small towns alike. The Town Endowment program provides grants to nonprofit organizations benefiting the people of Gaston, Selma, and Yorktown.

Like each town has its own character, each town endowment fund has a unique story about how it was established. The Gaston Town Endowment Fund was established by an anonymous donor who wanted to do something special for the community. Selma area residents used the Acorn program to establish the Liberty Perry Selma Town Endowment Fund. A grassroots fundraising effort for many $5, $10, and $20 gifts made the fund a reality. The Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund was established by a community leader and left to grow. Community members revitalized fundraising efforts years later to increase the fund's ability to make grants.
