Everybody wants to make more money, or at least most people do. But most don't know how to make more money. Ask someone this question: "How can YOU make more money?" Here's what you will get from most people: 'Work harder", "ask for a raise", or "get a second job". Am I right? Let's look at what JOB really stands for. It's an acronym that means Just Over Broke. I know, may not be funny for most people, but they can sure relate to that. Our country and government have proven to us that having a job is more riskier than ever before. With the goverment bailouts and programs sucking our money (like paying for their own pensions) many people are looking for a solution to combat our next recession. There are ways to make more money. The first one is to QUIT YOUR JOB!! Boy, did I really get your attention, didn't I? Now I don't mean to quit it today, but you are going to HAVE to someday, trust me. Raises and promotions aren't going to happen to most, that's why YOU need an altenative solution to your problem. So yes, I am going to say to start your own business. YOU NEED TO!! Here are somethings for you to consider to provide the solution to making more money: 1. Create relationships with many people! The more people you know the better the opportunity may present itself. But remember this opportunity DOESN"T knock. Successful people are the ones who go "banging on the doors". But once you find that business idea you have for youself, you will have trustworthy relationships that can help build your brand. 2. Multiple sources of income. I said income, not multiple jobs. Once you find YOUR own business to conduct, it's your responsibility to think outside the box and create multiple streams of income from your business, because there will be a lot of people that may not buy or invest in your primary product or service. 3. Education and Training, Resources. New business owners need to keep up to date with all the changing information and education. For instance, internet marketing strategies and techniques. This is a MUST for business owners to understand to become more profitable instead of just using
the old school ways of newspaper and magazine ads. 4. Support. Having support is huge when you are looking to make more money with your own business. This can be family/spouse support, friends, and other associates. Before you start your own business do your research on others who have succeeded, and you may want to research why some have failed. I already know the answer to that one, but this will be good for you to find out. 5. Work on yourself! In order to have something you've never had, you must become someone different first. You need to Change! Most people that start their own business, still have that employee mentality where they wait for someone else to tell them what to do. This should be easy to understand, right. To make money for yourself, YOU need to do what others aren't willing to do - Break Free from the employeee mindset. Investing in personal development materials WILL change your mindset. One common goal of an entrepreneur is to change the world. So you need to ask yourself: What do I have to offer society to make this world a better place? Once you figure that out, watch the money fill your pockets and bank account. 6. Think outside the box. In this day and age, the one with a more creative mind will always outduel a competetive mind. Where I live in Colorado, there are thousands of mini-vans and SUV's that have there "mommy home business" plastered all over their vehicles. Yeah, sometimes this works, but this technique has become more saturated. But the creativity has to come from YOU! Don't say that you aren't creative, we ALL have a creative side, we just have to go out and find it! So the J-O-B is probably not the way to make more money for yourself, isn't it? Now I understand that there are a few percentages of people who are in a great position with there job and are doing great. I commend those people for working hard and reaching their vision they have set for themselves. But for most, you need to consider alternatives to your job right now, because our country is in a recession and it will get worse, I promise you that, I have PROOF!
