1. THE CONTRACTOR FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL COORDINATE THE ENTIRE SCOPE OF WORK FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS THROUGH FINAL CLOSE OUT. THE SCOPE OF THE WORK SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, PREPARATION OF ALL COORDINATION DRAWINGS, DIAGRAMS, AND SCHEDULES FOR THE COMPLETION AND CONTROL OF SITE UTILIZATION. 2. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PROCEDURES NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT. 3. EXCEPT WHERE SPECIFICALLY NOTED BY THESE DRAWINGS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INCLUDE ALL MATERIALS AND THE LABOR NECESSARY FOR COMPLETION OF THE ENTIRE SCOPE OF WORK. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS OF HIS EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WHILE ON SITE. ACCORDINGLY, CONTRACTOR AGREES TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY MEASURES TO PREVENT INJURY OR LOSS TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY LOCATED ON SITE. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY CAUSED BY CONTRACTOR OR ANY OF HIS AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROMPTLY REPAIR DAMAGE THAT HE OR HIS AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES MAY CAUSE TO THE SITE. 8. CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE A SCHEDULE IDENTIFYING CRITICAL DATES. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL TRADES SO THAT WORK IS COMPLETED ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE. CONTRACTOR SHALL IDENTIFY LONG-LEAD ITEMS TO THE OWNER AND TO CJ DESIGNS SO THAT AN ALTERNATIVE SELECTION MAY BE CONSIDERED. 9. THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDING MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER AND ADEQUATE STORAGE OF THEIR MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT. 10. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SHOW AN OVERVIEW OF THE WORK REQUIRED UNDER THIS CONTRACT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR CONDITIONS WHICH MAY IMPACT THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS GENERALLY INDICATE THE CONCEPT AND INTENT OF THE PROJECT AND ARE NOT MEANT TO SHOW ALL CONDITIONS OR DETAILS. STATED DIMENSIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER GRAPHIC REPRESENTATIONS. DRAWINGS ARE NOT TO BE SCALED. LARGER DETAILS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SMALL DETAILS. CONTRACTOR SHALL INFORM CJ DESIGNS OF DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK. 11. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE DESIGNED TO REFLECT A PARTICULAR OCCUPANCY TYPE AND USE FOR THE STRUCTURE, ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS, AND FACILITIES DESCRIBED. STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH ALL CODES AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE USE AND OCCUPANCY OF THE STRUCTURE IS INTENDED. ALL WORK SHALL ADHERE TO THE REQUIREMENTS IN THE CONTRACT. 12. ALL WALLS, CEILING, AND OTHER ASSEMBLIES ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED PLUMB, TRUE, AND SQUARE, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 13. EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS ARE SHOWN TO OUTSIDE OF STRUCTURE, TRIM DIMENSIONS ARE SHOWN NOMINAL UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 14. CLEAN-UP DURING CONSTRUCTION AND FINAL CLEAN-UP OF THE BUILDING AND SITE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A DUMPSTER AND ENSURE THAT IT IS REGULARLY EMPTIED. THE BUILDING AND SITE SHALL BE TURNED OVER TO THE OWNER IN A CLEAN AND NEW CONDITION. 15. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH TO THE OWNER A WRITTEN GUARANTEE THAT ALL WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT (AND BY THESE DOCUMENTS) SHALL BE FREE OF DEFECTS OF WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROJECT BY THE OWNER. ALL DEFECTS WHICH OCCUR WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR WILL BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER. 16. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR MAY BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT SAMPLES TO DESIGNER OF FINISHES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FLOOR MATERIALS, PAINT, AND MILLWORK. 17. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE PRECISE CLEARANCES FOR CABINETRY, FIXTURES, AND APPLIANCES WITH THE CABINET VENDOR. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONVEYING ALL PRECISE CLEARANCES AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TO ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING SUBCONTRACTORS.
