DESIGN AMBITION
A growing requirement of seeking for comfort-enhancing is captured in EU. Consumers expect to alleviate health issues and,to create a soothing indoor atmosphere with scent. Our proposition strives to address with ultrasonic humi portfolio at an affordable price broaden our reach to consumers that makes them feel comfortable at home.

CRAFTING THE DETAILS
The design process includes multiple iterations design exploration of product form factor / CMF / UIUX, mockup creations and design test to identify the most desirable design direction.
To ensure the design solution meets the functionality performance and commercial features promise, the product is designed in close collaboration with the R&D team and marketing team, and the design focus areas were:
• Differentiating and appealing product and CMF design, validated with market research, competitor comparison and regional consumer test.
• Teaming up with electronic experts and supplier to conduct multiple rounds of experiment and exploration via different transparency, colour and texture levels on water tank and inner tube to ensure the ideal ambient light effect.
• Together with the product research team to creative a discreet yet intuitive UI design solution that brings seamless experience to consumers.

The design process includes multiple iterations design exploration of product form factor / CMF / UIUX, mockup creations and design test to identify the most desirable design direction.
To ensure the design solution meets the functionality performance and commercial features promise, the product is designed in close collaboration with the R&D team and marketing team, and the design focus areas were:
• Differentiating and appealing product and CMF design, validated with market research, competitor comparison and regional consumer test.
• Teaming up with Mechanical, electronic expert and supplier to conduct multiple rounds of experiment reach the promising ambient light effect for the top module
• Together with the product research team to creative a desirable physical & digital UI that brings worry-free experience to consumers.

BRIM WITH EFFORTLESS OPERATION
The humidifier creates easiest and most intuitive usage With one touch button control, consumers can toggle between different humidity level and find favorite ambience On top of the product, the white LED digits and user interface offers the best readability and minimalistic visual effect.
Additionally, the product is allowed to connect with the Air+ app for extra convenience and control. What’s more, it’s suitable for medium to large-sized room with a compact yet large compacity volume empowering long-lasting humidification. Through intuitive and straightforward toggle trigger touch point, it offers performance reassurance for consumers in their wish of convenient fast cooking and durability.

We strived to deliver strong differentiating design in the very competitive commoditized low-end price segment. The key ambitious challenges we overcome were:

CRAFTING THE DETAILS
The design is crafted under multiple iterations from ideation, CMF and pattern exploration, mockup creations as well as prototype validation to identify the ideal direction.
To fulfill the functionality and commercial requirement, we worked closely with the R&D and marketing team, and the main design focus areas were:
• Differentiating and appealing product and CMF design; Validated with the market research and competitor comparison
• Detailed features accentuating the market culture. The pattern was created through in-depth understanding of culture and rounds of fine tune to identify its uniqueness
• A balance between design and ergonomics Leveraging the horizontal hinge mechanism to create an iconic lid design and simplify redundant structure.
RECOGNIZABLE ORIENTAL SIGNATURES
The design of Philips rice cooker 1000 series positions well with the key Asian audiences. With in-depth local culture study and exploration, we elevated the design features with timeless oriental aesthetics to differentiate from the outdated design competition.
The metal housing is wrapped by exquisite patterns that incorporates the recognizable design elements, resonating with the Indonesian culture of reed art and batik
AN IMMERSIVE CULTURAL JOURNEY
The Philips rice cooker 1000s proposition were crafted with details and quality. By learning from the oriental cookware category codes, we designed with an arched handle on top of the lid, seamlessly bridging the volcano rim while inviting consumers to open the lid with ease. Besides,
the side handles perfectly integrates with the hinge mechanism as well as the condensed water box, maintaining a monolithic design while strongly radiates its functionality.
DESIGN RADIATING FUNCTIONALITY
The Philips 1000 series rice cooker delivers seamless experience with an ergonomic operation The two handles are designed to be integrated with the lid in an inviting form which supports consumers in their wishes of moving the cooker to table with ease .
Besides, the UI panel is designed in a circular form, echoing with the entire main body. Together with a simple touching of a toggle trigger, the overall design delivers on simple and effortless cooking experience.

In terms of detail, the profile evolves to a squircle with taper to elevate a sense of compactness and cookware The curvature of handle bridging the circular rim of the lid reassures the best gripping ergonomics, seamlessly blending with the steam valve while maintaining the top area minimalistic and organized.
REVIVE THE COOKING TRADITION
The journey of inner pot creation is more than just a design exercise. It’s an exploration of culture, tradition and innovation By understanding and incorporating the unique aspects of culture into our proposals, we targeted to create a spherical pot that not only serves its functionality but recalls the traditional Indonesian heritage
The design of form is inspired by traditional Indonesian kitchen cookware, making it instantly recognizable and culturally relevant that appeals to those who value both tradition and innovation. Besides, its durable material, exquisite coatings, together with 60 °bowl curvature ensure powerful heat circulation for greater cooking result.
DESIGN RADIATING FUNCTIONALITY
The control panel is crafted with detail. It not only aligns with the overall design consistency but offer a focal point for consumers The combination of concave and contrasting finish proudly heroes its premiumness. With one press of the pill-shaped button, worry-free cooking can be activated.
