CAVE HILL ASSOCIATION OF ENTREPRENEURS AND THINKERS (CHAET)
Together we achieve more. CHAET CHAET is an association which is in the process of being formed on campus. This association will be part of a developing active network of entrepreneurs and intellectuals from across the region and the diaspora. This network will be created through the implementation of entrepreneurship clubs within the tertiary and secondary educational institution across the region; complimented by partnerships and strategic alliances with the private and public business agencies. The historical and cultural similarity among the nations of the region portrays it as a prime candidate for the existence of such an entity. The aim of the network is to create a hub from which all the entrepreneurial resources can be access and through development improve the global competitiveness of small business across the region. As a body it seeks to help individual and groups attain business success through hands on development of idea and or businesses, as well as to provide avenues through which individuals and business can reach and productively compete on the global market. The Cave Hill arm of the club will be known as the Cave Hill Association of Entrepreneurs and thinkers. On campus the association will: 1. Create and sustain a sense of entrepreneurship within the student body. 2. Seek to provide educational resources for its members (Seed and other courses already substantially contribute to this). 3. Identify and facilitate partnerships. 4. Create opportunities for the development of small enterprise. 5. Promote the development of the regional network. 6. And other activities as deemed necessary by its members or recommended by the university or corporate society.
CHAET Objective are: 1. Identify and pursue business grants and other funding that may be available both to the association as a whole and to its individual members. 2. Collaborate with other campus associations/societies to provide businesses solution/consultancy to the local business community. 3. Be an advocate to the relevant authorities, in recognition of the necessary infrastructure required for sustainable development.

Together we achieve more. 4. Create events such as workshops, limes ,exhibitions and compitions geared toward promoting interest and paticipation. CONTINUITY The continuity of the association is insure through an anuall change of executive as well as on going efforts to solicite members. Also as the network develops it will aid in the attaiment of goals and objective and thus contribute to a sustained development.
