Utopia - a theatrical act Utopia is a theatre act held as a part of NittFest 2010. I was the Co-ordinator for that event and also the director. The act won First prize and complimented as a novel attempt catering wholesome entertainment. The act was performed by constructing props out of very cost efficient and light materials and the performing space hads been judicously utilized. The smooth transitions and visual iilusions are special attractions of this act. The act explores the haluccinatory nature of human mind in always imaging favourable and utopian outcomes to everyday problems and the way our mind tries to compensate for the shortcomings in our effort has been hilariously portrayed. The act ends ends by showing dangers of repeatedly distancing from real life issues and living in the imaginatory utopian world.
