We need a new story. God designed the Church to act as His agents of reconciliation in our broken world, demonstrating His Kingdom in word and deed. Jesus delighted in sharing this Good News among the hurting, weak, and poor.

Yet we often find the Church doesn’t understand how the Gospel relates to material poverty, or what to do about it. While longing for justice and reconciliation, we settle for short-term solutions that fail to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the people we’re trying to help.
