Baylor Scott & White – Brenham is rated as the top performer in patient satisfaction out of the dozens of acute care hospitals in the Baylor Scott & White Health system operates throughout Texas, ranking in the top 15 percent among all hospitals nationally. We have achieved Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This designation recognizes our commitment to nursing excellence, overall clinical quality and patient-centered care. Fewer than 50 hospitals in Texas hold this coveted national distinction. In order to streamline the care experience, all our clinics and hospitals are connected by a single electronic health record that allows care providers to share patient information, care plans, prescription information and more, regardless of which location a patient is visiting. This can help reduce the amount of paperwork and duplication of testing. The MyBSWHealth app and portal gives patients access to all of their health accounts in one place. Through the app or portal, patients enjoy: • Scheduling appointments online and reviewing test results and account information. • Refilling pescriptions and asking their doctor a question. • Initiating an eVisit for diagnosis and care for common illnesses without going to the doctor’s office. • Video visits, allowing face-to-face time with their doctor from any location.

We are proud to feature primary care physicians and specialists on the medical staffin cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, kidney medicine, pain management, sports medicine, women’s health and much more. In the event of sudden illness or injury, our Emergency Department team has implemented new systems to reduce wait times and speed the delivery of quality care 24/7. We remain the only trauma center on U.S. Highway 290 between Houston and Austin for patients with potentially life-threatening injuries. Growing with you

We have continued our investment into the Brenham community, with new equipment and treatment areas. We invested in a new 3D mammography machine in Brenham to provide access to better imaging for our community as well as a $1.4M investment into refurbishing our MRI machine at The Brenham Clinic. We acquired a new pharmacy and installed a new audiology booth for our new audiologist. We also refreshed nine hospital patient rooms and 5 L&D rooms, as well as began our Emergency Department renovation, an investment of $2.3M.
