NIGHT AT THE RITZ

Night at the Ritz returns for Season Three this year! Once again, we are working in collaboration with the Georgia Council for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts to present this incredible event series to the residents of Toccoa and beyond!

We kicked off Night at the Ritz on August 2nd with three-time Grammy Award winner and country music superstar Linda Davis to a capacity theatre. Then, on September 26th, we brought back Lightwire Theater to the Ritz for another electric performance. Lightwire Theater may perhaps be best known for their semi-finalist status on America’s Got Talent and as the winner of TruTV’s Fake Off. As with previous years, they wowed the crowd with their glow-in-the-dark spectacle.

On October 3rd, in conjunction with Currahee Military Weekend, we brought big band and jazz extraordinaire Joe Gransden to the Ritz to perform A Tribute to the Great American Songbook, this time featuring Robin Latimore. This show was generously sponsored by the 1st Franklin Financial Investment Center and the X-Factor Grill, both located in beautiful Downtown Toccoa.

On October 24th, WVL Radio Theatre returns to the Ritz with their spooky live performance of The Headless Hessian of Sleepy Hollow, and in November we see two great performances: On November 14th, the Truett-McConnell University Orchestra Ensemble will present a free concert, and on November 16th, we bring Johnny Cash tribute artist Bennie Wheels for his phenomenal show, Walkin’ the Line.

Our Christmas special takes place on December 7th with Country music duo Wilson Fairchild, and international jazz sensation Milkshake Mayfield returns to the Ritz on February 13th of 2020. On March 6th, Toccoa Falls College Jazz performs for the community. On April 18th, the definitive Fleetwood Mac tribute group, Fleetwood Max, will wow the Ritz Theatre, and on May 7th, award-winning bluegrass group, the Edgar Loudermilk Band, concludes our hit event series.

All of this, plus several unannounced acts, will make up Season Three of Night at the Ritz. It’s a great event series, and even better – tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and students with IDs. All showtimes are at 7pm.
