Robert Simpson is incredibly grateful to be a part of Grease! This is his third summer intensive at Chaminade, and he would like to dedicate this performance to his two loving parents.

Paxton, an incoming senior, is more than excited to perform in her first performance with Chaminade. Paxton loved working with everyone in the cast, and would like to thank her family and all the staff for encouraging and supporting her throughout this process!

Sasha Turbow as BETTY RIZZO

Sasha, a Senior is excited to be a part of this amazing cast for her 6th show with the Players! Prior to coming to Chaminade Sasha performed with Village Arts Theatre in 14 shows. She wants to thank her mom, Dad, brother, Yvette, and all the players’ for helping her through her journey.

Leah Newman as FRENCHY

Leah, an eighth grader, is so grateful and excited to be a part of Grease! She began performing in the Chaminade summer theater program last year in Shrek as one of the three little pigs. Leah would to thank her friends, family, cast and crew for this amazing opportunity.

Katie Freshman as MARTY

Katie is a senior who is ecstatic to be performing in her fourth show. As well as taking part in the hair and makeup crew, Katie is beyond excited to be apart the Chaminade Players family. She would like to thank Yvette, friends, family, and all who have helped to make this possible. She can not wait to see what the future holds!

Grace Feldstein as JAN

Grace is so excited to be a part of her second show with the players. In the past years, Grace has been in shows such as Matilda, Guys and Dolls, and Wicked. She is immensely grateful to continue her performance journey with the players in Grease!

Matthew Grossman as DOODY

Matthew, who is going to be a senior, is very exited to participate in the Chaminade Players summer musical, Grease. He recently had a great experience being in the ensemble of Into the Woods and worked in crew for Mama Mia and The Skin of our Teeth. He is very grateful to work in an amazing program with many supportive and talented people.

Ruairi Devlin as KENICKIE

Ruairi is thrilled to be a part of Grease this Summer. He has previously been in Shrek and Into the Woods. He would like to thank Yvette and the Players for all their support.

Max Mortensen as SONNY LATIERRI/JOHNNY CASINO/HERO

Max is excited to be acting in Grease this summer. He has been involved in numerous drama productions, including several from Chaminade Middle School. However, this is his first time being involved in a theater production with Chaminade High School. Max wants to thank his family and friends for always being supportive of him.

Dylan Grossman as ROGER

This is Dylan's first show with the high school but his second with Chaminade. Dylan would like to thank his fellow Chaminade players for helping him with his struggles, and hopes to have great experience in his Chaminade years to come.

Cate Fairtlough as VINCE FONTAINE/ENSEMBLE

Cate, a sophomore is so thrilled to be playing Vince Fontaine in Grease. This is Cate’s 3rd play with the Nade players her recent roles including Donkey in Shrek and Hester in Skin of Our Teeth. She would like to thank Mrs. Bishop, Dan, the stage managers, as well as her fellow cast members and endlessly supportive family.

Sophia Sedik as CHA-CHA/RADIO VOICE/ENSEMBLE/CHEERLEADER

Sophia is so excited to be a part of Grease. She is so grateful to be in this show with such an amazing cast who continue to inspire her every day. She would like to thank her parents, Yvette, Dan, Michelle, and her Grease family for a truly unforgettable experience!

Olivia Vanek as EUGENE FLORCZYK/ENSEMBLE/CHEERLEADER

Olivia is delighted to be a part of this summer’s performance of Grease! Although it’s only her second show with Chaminade High School, she has had years of experience leading up to this point. Olivia would like to thank all involved behind the scenes, specifically Yevette and Dan. She also wishes to thank her parents for the love and support.

Kiley Kruse as MISS LYNCH/TEEN ANGEL

Kiley, an upcoming sophomore, is absolute thrilled to be a part of this production. This is her first time performing with the Chaminade Players. She would like to thank her family, friends, Yvette, and all the lovely players for supporting her through this journey and giving her this amazing opportunity.

Molly, a sophomore, is thrilled to be a part of Grease and the Chaminade Players. She would like to thank her parents, her little brother Egan, her grandparents, Mrs. Bishop, and the entire Players' family for such a fun time.

Lola is a sophomore and extremely grateful to be a part of her third production with the Chaminade Players. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her dreams, her friends who have always been right by her side, the incredibly hardworking cast and crew of Grease, and Yvette for providing her with this wonderful opportunity.

Emmy Borja as ENSEMBLE/CHEERLEADER

Emmy is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Grease, her first musical production. Outside of theater, she’s involved in Filipino cultural dance. With her family’s support and encouragement, she has stepped out of her comfort zone with her fellow cast mates.

Valentina Brian as ENSEMBLE/CHEERLEADER

Valentina is thrilled to take part in Chaminade’s production of Grease the musical! She has been dancing ballet for the past 8 years with the California Dance Academy and regularly performs in CDA’s production of the Nutcracker. Valentina has been singing with the National Children’s Chorus, performing in Portugal and Spain last summer and at Carnegie Hall this May.

Valentina is so excited to be in her first play, Grease. She has had so much fun learning choreography and meeting new people. She hopes to continue drama in seventh grade. Valentina loves working with people who are so incredibly sweet and talented. Her favorite part of being in Grease is meeting new people and learning all the choreography.

Justin White as ENSEMBLE/CHEERLEADER/SCIENTIST

Justin, a rising 7th grader at Chaminade Middle School, is having so much fun being a part of Grease. Other productions include Murders in the Heir. Many thanks to his friends and family for supporting him, and Yvette for this opportunity!

Geraldine Ortega as ENSEMBLE/JOHNNY CASINO BACKUP SINGER

Geraldine, a 7th grader, is excited to be a part of Grease. Her start to theater was when she performed in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat in Chaminade High School. She is thankful for the support and encouragement everyone gave her and is elated to perform her second show.

Stella Pinckney as ENSEMBLE/JOHNNY CASINO BACKUP SINGER

Stella, is a newcomer to the Chaminade theater program, but is very grateful to be a part of such an amazing community. This is Stella’s first musical, although she had experience doing plays, particularly Shakespeare. Stella does not attend Chaminade middle school, but hopes to be a part of this program every summer from now on.

Skye Sexton as ENSEMBLE/JOHNNY CASINO BACKUP SINGER

Skye is excited to join the Nade Players for the first time in Grease! Happily a part of theater since the second grade, she’s grateful for her supportive family and all of the wonderful directors and choreographers who’ve helped her get ready to ROCK!

Marlo Butler as ENSEMBLE

Marlo, an incoming 8th grader, is so excited to be apart of Grease. She has been apart of multiple theater productions including Bye Bye Birdie, Sound of Music, and Carmen at the Ford Theater. Marlo is very greatful for her family and friends for always supporting her.

Lara Aline Kim (Production Stage Manager)

Lara is thrilled to work as the Production Stage Manager for Grease. Approaching her senior year, she has worked in the tech crew for the Players for three years. She would like to thank her fellow stage managers, Yvette, and her family for their support.

Cadence Cirlin (Stage Manager and Student Technical Director)

Cadence, a rising junior, is ecstatic to work on Grease as a Stage Manager and Student Technical Director. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her in her Players journey.

Ayden Marcus (Assistant Stage Manager)

Ayden, a junior, is incredibly excited to join this amazing cast and crew as an assistant stage manager and co-head of Carpentry for Grease this year. He is very grateful for the fun times he has been able to experience and would like to thank his family, friends, and fellow Chaminade Players.

Brooklyn Niece (Assistant Stage Manager)

Brooklyn, a Sophomore, is thrilled be working on her first show as an Assistant Stage Manager and Assistant Carpentry head. She is grateful for the support her friends, family, and the Players have shown her.

Mady McClure (Student Senior Producer)

Mady, an upcoming senior, is excited for Grease to be her first show as a Senior Producer and Wardrobe Head with the Chaminade Players. She loves working backstage during the summers, and would like to thank her co-head, Minnie, for helping her manage wardrobe.

Ava Newman (Student Senior Producer)

Ava is a rising senior who is working on Grease as a Senior Producer and Head of Hair and Makeup, and could not be more excited to be working alongside such a wonderful cast and crew. She is also so proud to be working on this show with her little sister, Leah.

Dear Summer Musical Theatre Patrons, “Summer Lovin’ had me a blast!”

Wow! Don’t we all know that song? Isn’t that nostalgic to say the least? GREASE really is such a fun summer show and what a wonderful way to end the summer! Yes, this Summer Musical Theatre Intensive has been everything it should be: we have played the theatre games, sung all the familiar GREASE songs, but now learned the actual harmonies, learned the staging, choreography, worked on storytelling and character, then added in set designs, wigs, costumes, professional musicians and our fabulous Chaminade Players tech crews!

Our summer musical goes up fast and magical, a true summer stock experience. We put up this performance ready magic in less than three weeks and building that kind of confidence in any performer is truly what theatre is all about. WOW. Youth theatre programs are just the best!
