OUR PROCESS TRANSPORTATION OVERVIEW

Releasing a home into production schedule

After your order is serialized, Transportation Department will contact you to verify: A permit has been obtained. An approximate date you would like delivery

Your house order has now been scheduled for production

Transportation will call and confirm a delivery date. This will be mutually agreed upon by builder and the Plant.

If doing a Plant set, we will pass this information along to our set manager, so he can assist in scheduling a crane and delivery of units

If the Plant is not involved with the set, builder will notify Plant of dates that he can get a crane and set crew. This all happens at least two weeks before boxes are online and ready to ship providing adequate time to arrange a workable date.

Transportation fleet delivers boxes to your staging area or site

Site must be able to accommodate all boxes without compromising the safety of our employees and equipment

If site conditions are not favorable as mentioned, builder will need a dozer or comparable equipment to maneuver boxes onto and around the site. If conditions are satisfactory and space is available, our drivers will make a reasonable attempt to place boxes according to your needs.

If the site cannot hold all units, a designated staging area will be required. When staging is required, on the day of a set, our drivers can shuttle boxes to the site for a nominal fee. Remember, it is only our responsibility to deliver curbside However, as a convenience to our builders, and assuming it can be done safely, we will place boxes to suit your needs

Once set is complete

Builder will notify the transportation department that carriers have been stacked (see insert) and ready for return. The Plant will attempt to remove these carriers within a three-week window
