HKS Architects Internship|Summer 2018 & 2019

Position: Architectural Intern

DESIGNS THAT INSPIRE, CONNECT & PERFORM

During the summer of 2018 & 2019, I had the opportunity to intern with HKS Architects in Atlanta. Throughout my experience I revised floor plans, developed details and created life safety plans for the Healthcare and Commercial design teams on Navicent Health, Piedmont Atlanta, and 760 Ralph McGill. For Navicent Health, The Sibling Play Area I helped develop allowed for children to play in a comfortable and engaging environment that featured musical notes that a child could climb into.

Additionally, I prepared design presentations, programming analysis layouts and studies for past hospitals including the Erlanger Hospital Outpatient Center. The boards featured analysis design intent behind the clinic modules, and the result it had on the program.
