ZANVAR RESIDENCE

Location : Hindawadi, Belgaum, Karnataka, India Year : Built Period : 2018-2021 Category : Professional Practice | Residential Project | Interior Role : Designing, development of 3D & working drawings, coordination with client, site & consultants.

A modern contemporary house designed for a family of 6 on a plot of 4500Sqft located in a city named belgaum in Karnataka. This G+2 villa has a Parents room with living, DIning kitchen in ground floor , Family, Master & son bedrooms in First floor and daughter’s bedroom in Second floor. Being the most prominent marwadi family the client requirement was to have more common spaces for them to organise & host their family functions & festivals. Hence each floor is designed in such a way that the place can open up at get converted into a huge common area as per the requirement.

METGUD RESIDENCE

Location : Bailhongal, Karnataka, India Year : 2020-Ongoing Project Category : Professional Practice | Residential Project Role : Designing, development of 3D & working drawings, coordination with client, site & consultants. This project situated in a small village called Bailhongal, reached to us when the foundations of the columns were executed on site and client had to change the architect due to certain curcumstances. This design is designed keeping in mind of the harsh climate of the site. Context of the house resemble a very rural set up called Wadas of Gujrat & Maharashtra. Wadas where spaces are bound together with provision of a courtyard which serves two purposes – buffer and passive cooling.

The organization of spaces on ground floor revolves around the central courtyard, creating an indifferent entry on other side of living room for the office space on level above. The elemental tranquil coil like staircase creates a unique humor as one enters though the main gate. The humor of this staircase continues as viewed from living room, in a way that during transition the privacy of the family is unhindered. Contemporary needs and rural context helped to frame the color palette of the house. Earthy tones and exquisite furniture intermingles to create a unique outlook.to deal with various sets of issues.

Site demonstrates very unique mix of various nodes and landmarks defined by mixed landuses from private to public incorporating Educational centres, entertainment centres and public transportation hub. Study area includes old city streets like Ramlingkhind galli & Patil galli, important ‘chowks’ & nodes like Bogarves circle, Laxmi parking, Tilak chowk, Ashok Chowk, Hemu kalani chowk, Telegraph road and Gogte Circle etc. Study area comprises of important transit nodes like Railway station and Kadamba bus stand and also includes 3 important Cinema Theatres namely - Big Cinema, Inox, Globe and Lokamanya Rangmandir - Drama thetre. Three important schools namely B.K. Model, St. Mary’s and Islamiya School. The site is characterized by important natural features like Nala, Green buffers and open lands along the same in a linear belt running across the site. Site demonstrates the rich mix of Landuse and landmarks and offer multiple opportunities for students to deal with various sets of issues.

Project with an area of 1800sqft located in one of the prime commercial area of the city. Client requiremnt was to create hair spa & salon with all the amminities like reception, waiting lounge for the customers, haircutting station, manicure & pedicure area, bridal room, hair treatment room, facial room, spa room so each function required a designated area with their own privacies in itself. By using client’s old furniture we had design the interiors in the budget friendly. Material palatte has the vibrant colors to add the fresh vibe, circular shaped mirrors hanging from ceiling, colorful wallpapers, Metal & wood.
