If you’re an older adult and are eligible for Medicare or a group retiree, you may be eligible for a FREE membership at the Y. Military Families Initiative The ASYMCA-DoD Outreach Initiative responds to a provision in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008, which requires the Secretary of Defense to develop a plan to support military family readiness and to ensure that military family readiness programs and activities are available to all deployed National Guard and Reserve families, and some active duty families. Eligible military families participating in the initiative will receive a FREE Y membership based on participation requirements. OPEN DOORS (Financial Assistance) Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Financial assistance is available to help pay for facility memberships, programs and child care. Stop by the Welcome Center today to pick up your application or visit us online: ciymca.org/ventura NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP Use your membership card at participating Ys across the U.S. Must use your “Home” branch more than 50% of the time. Photo ID required. LOCKER RENTALS Lockers may be rented monthly for an additional $20 each month. The locker rental agreement must be submitted to the Welcome Center. MEMBER CHILD WATCH Let our Y experts watch your little one while you enjoy a great workout! Child Watch is included with a family membership and can be added to an individual membership for $20 per child each month. Child Watch provides up to 1 hour and 20 minutes of care for children 6 weeks to 18 months of age and 2 hours of care for children 19 months and older. Parents must remain in the Y facility while using this service. Children’s Corner (6 weeks – 6 years) Children’s Corner is supervised by trained and loving staff that will care for and play with your child. Your child will enjoy both indoor and outdoor play. We offer arts and crafts, activities, games, story time, and old-fashioned fun! Adventure Zone (5 years – 12 years) Our staff will keep your kids active and safe while you relax and enjoy your workout. Children are challenged by a 3-level maze, Nintendo Wii, crafts and more! It’s also a great place to do homework or just relax.
