“Emilio was a second time participant of the YMCA summer camp through Adelante Charter School. He was excited to return for the fun field trips, for the skills he developed (last year he was a chess champ) and for the knowledge that he acquired during his time in camp about many things ranging from animals to planets and gravity.
This year he was especially pleased to have such warm, loving supportive and fun staff. Every week he looked forward to the themes and the water games during the hot summer days. I had a pleasant experience with all staff, each and every staff member on the site was polite, kind and welcoming. I felt comfortable leaving my child as I knew that he was in great hands.
Thank you for the programming and the behind the scenes to plan weeks of fun and learning for our children. All the hard work that was put into the Adelante Charter School program was evident and very much appreciated. Thank you to every single staff member on site, Emilio quotes, ‘Thank you for making summer learning fun, this camp has a special place in my heart and everyone was really nice to me and my friends.’”
