We know that the challenge itself is just part of the overall event journey and often the biggest challenges are the promotion, recruitment and retention of participants. We have teamed up with our friends at GoFilm, a professional film production company, to enhance your Charity Challenge experience and help you maximise your event registrations and increase brand awareness.
HOW DOES IT WORK? 2.
NEW APP
4.
6.
The templates are uploaded to the GoFilm cloud.
5.
Once completed, the user’s clips seamlessly splice into your template.
7.
The user shares their video through their social channels, complete with your branding.
The cloud returns their completed film to their device.
WHY VIDEO?
charitychallenge.com
3.
The user follows the in-app instructions.
Video now counts for over 50% of all online traffic, and more than 90% of marketers use video for online communication, sales and promotion. Essentially, video sells. We have worked closely with GoFilm to develop a service available exclusively to our charity accounts to help with promotion and to give you the opportunity to benefit from your challenge long after the participants have returned.
6
Custom templates are created specifically for your event.
Professional footage lays the foundations of the template.
The GoFilm app is the ultimate tool for creating beautiful videos of life’s greatest moments and is exclusive to Charity Challenge. Event footage taken by participants on their smart phone is seamlessly spliced with professional destination shots, to create a finished film to be shared with friends and family on social media. It’s all done within the app, there is no editing involved, so all you need is a smart phone and a smile! Charity Challenge is working with GoFilm to create exclusive templates, unique to our challenges, and we’re really excited to see what participants capture out in the wild!

MOVING FORWARD CHARITY CHALLENGE SUPPORT TEAM With years of experience in challenge events fundraising, the Charity Challenge team is here to help you develop and grow your challenge events portfolio. This would be done in line with current market trends and participant demographics while also ensuring you meet your specific objectives and fundraising targets. Your Charity Challenge support team is fully experienced in UK challenge event fundraising, having themselves previously worked in the third sector in an array of charities from small to large scale organisations. As a result the team is favourably placed to help you grow your fundraising challenge event portfolio, support your marketing campaigns and assist with mapping out engaging donor journeys.
NEW EVENTS UK event fundraising is an extremely competitive marketplace, with new challenges constantly being introduced, whether it be running, swimming, walking or triathlon style events. The team at Charity Challenge is well-versed in the UK challenge events market and are frequently devising new challenges to keep abreast of current market trends, together with helping to increase participant retention rates, plus drive new acquisition.
EVENT STRATEGY As part of our business operation, we are working closely with charities to produce a 3-year challenge event strategy, rather than delivering a singular event. We view the Charity Challenge support team as an extension to your events team, providing insight and the right event products for your specific organisation to help you reach your objectives and fundraising targets. Plus not forgetting the huge importance of event delivery, we will ensure all your participants have a fantastic event experience to maximise engagement and retention figures with your organisation. This way of working creates a win-win outcome for both organisations and therefore a long term solution to build your challenge events portfolio.
