THIS year marks the 22nd anniversary for Ella Walton Richardson Fine Art. The gallery is housed in a 2,700-square-foot, airy and elegant historic property at 58 Broad St. in Downtown Charleston.

The gallery represents American and international painters and sculptors, including the late American artist Glenna Goodacre. Goodacre’s sculptures are prized for their convincing emotion and expressive composition. Visitors will also find fascinating works in porcelain by Anna Kasabian, etchings by renowned Charleston Renaissance artist Alfred Hutty and jewelry by Julie Vos.

Lindsay Goodwin is a treasured discovery among the next generation of fine artists. Her fascination for capturing the historical moment of interiors from Paris to Charleston reflects our human desire for romanticism in our lives and for bringing the elegance of historical splendor into our homes.

This summer the gallery welcomes painter Brad Stroman. He combines his passion for making art with his concerns for the environment by incorporating a Japanese Zen philosophy known as wabisabi. His award-winning work is exhibited in both solo and juried group exhibitions and has garnered acclaim from environmentalists and art lovers alike
