The Amazon Rainforest is the world’s richest and most-varied biological reservoir that contains millions of species of insects, plants, birds, and other forms of life. The Amazon rainforest is considered as the source of oxygen for the whole world. Unfortunately in recent days, there are many reasons which have led to reducing the greenery of the Amazon forest. The main reason for this is deforestation and global warming which has affected the entire world. Due to this, the Amazon rainforest animals are on extinction. You have come across the recent news that the two major incidents like a certain part of the Amazon forest have burnt down to ashes. This causes a major death of various Amazon rainforest animals and plants. The Amazon forest has always been one of the major bio-diversities for flora and fauna. The Amazon rainforest covers an area of 55,00,000 square kilometers that have been stretches from Brazil to Peru and some other South American countries.


You can find more than 425 species of mammals. Around 1300 bird species are found in the Amazon forest. 5500+ species of fishes and more than 1000 species of amphibians are found.
