Conventions of a Magazine Advert
A release date is vital for a magazine advert so the viewer will know exactly when the album will be released and when they can obtain a copy.
Release Date
An album title vital for the magazine advert as it allows the viewer to find the album online or in a shop but also means that they can talk about the album to other people and they would understand what they are referring to. It can also give an idea of genre of mood of the album.
Album Title
This is just as vital as the album name. The artist name could be recognised by the viewer and then just by the fact that they like the artist then the album could be purchased. It also gives the viewer the idea of genre, what to ask for, what to search for and who to talk about.
Artist Name
Usually we remember visuals more than words. For this reason I feel that it is paramount that the front cover of the album is incorporated in some way on the advert so the viewer can distinguish what the product looks like and could act as a trigger for the title of the album and artist.
Image of Album Cover
The advert tries to make it as easy as possible to purchase the album. The purpose of the advert is to persuade the viewer to purchase and by specifying places that the album can be obtained makes the process easier to reach the desired result.
Where it can be Brought
Although the record label appears small it can give an idea of what genre and style of music that will be in the album.
