presents a time-honored tradition—Homearama—showcasing a new and wonderful community on a walking tour, open to the public. The homes, and everything in them, are the product of Charlotte’s top architects, builders, and interior designers. Here you’ll find leading edge style, home functionality and creativity on the highest level. While many of us aren’t in the market for such extravagance, the ideas and inspiration are scalable and always worth the trip. Join us as we enjoy a walk through an amazing equestrian community in the blossoming and beautiful town of Mint Hill a few minutes northeast of Charlotte. There’s more than just home inspiration—you’ll find beautiful horse pastures and their magnificent residents. Food trucks, a Chef’s Day, and the opportunity to test drive some sleek new Lincoln vehicles. See something you like in the Den? Bedroom? Designer items are for-sale after the event ends and you’ll own a piece of your dreams. It’s always a great day window shopping at Charlotte Homearama.
DRIVING SOUTH ON I-485 (INNER) From I-485 S, take Exit 47 for Lawyers Road. Turn Right onto Lawyers Road and go 0.9 miles. Just after the sharp curve, you will turn Left onto Thompson Road. Drive 0.6 miles to the main entrance of Cheval and turn Right onto Joli Cheval Lane. Continue on Joli Cheval Lane past the Equestrian Center and follow the signs for HomeArama. The parking area will be on your Right. DRIVING NORTH ON I-485 (OUTER) From I-485 N, take Exit 47 for Lawyers Road. Turn Left onto Lawyers Road and go 1.1 miles. Just after the sharp curve, you will turn Left onto Thompson Road. Drive 0.6 miles to the main entrance of Cheval and turn Right onto Joli Cheval Lane. Continue on Joli Cheval Lane past the Equestrian Center and follow the signs for HomeArama. The parking area will be on your Right. A WALKING TOUR HomeArama is a walking tour. Please wear comfortable shoes. There will be food trucks on site during some weekend hours. Please refer to our Facebook page for more details. Monday, August 3 Many of the decorative accessories, artwork, and furniture may be available for purchase. If visitors are interested, ask the designer about items. If it is available, visitors can return on August 3 to pick up their items.
