“A caballo entre el expresionismo abstracto e informalismo matérico, la textura se erige como soporte y medio expresivo para cumplimentar una particular transformación plástica de la creación musical de Stravinsky, más concretamente de su Consagración de la Primavera, donde las luchas y juegos tribales ancestrales protagonizan la danza pagana y sacrificio de la doncella elegida. Es su rudeza y aspereza ambiental las que avalan la fuerza compositiva de la colección de obras expuestas.”
On horse among the abstract expressionism and material informality. The texture rise as a support and an expressive medium to complete a special plastic transformation from the creation of the music by Stravinsky. Or better said, from his Spring Victims, where the battles and the ancestrial tribal games play the lead in the pagan dance and the sacrifice of the choosen maid. DIEGO BONILLO Huércal Overa, 1954 Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Valencia. Catedrático de Dibujo Con más de un centenar de muestras expositivas, caben destacar las realizadas en Nueva York, Cleveland y Chicago, así como en París, Ferrara y Florencia además de las innumerables por toda la geografia nacional. Su obra está presente en diversas colecciones norteamericanas y europeas.
With over a hundred of samples exposed, it´s worth mentioning the ones realized in New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Paris, Ferrara and Florence and also the innumerable exhibitions in the national geography. His art is presented in different collections in north America and Europe
