Network, lobby and promote your organisation – showing that you are still open for business. Networking is also a great way of finding out the latest news about how your competitors are dealing with the impact of Brexit.

Look to the long term. As well as addressing the now, it is essential that businesses present a clear vision of the future for colleagues and customers.

Make sure you always clearly communicate any change to staff – if they don’t hear directly from you, they will fill the void themselves and may well assume, and relay, the worst.
