Since the 1850’s Carson City has been home to a rich and colorful frontier past that makes Nevada’s Capital City a wonderful destination to visit. Nevada’s heart beats in the captial city. Carson City is known as a premiere special events venue for all of northern Nevada with attractions in downtown Carson City bringing hundreds of visitors to such annual events as Carson Farmer’s Market, Nevada Day Parade, Wine Walk and the Silver State Art Festival.
