Winterfest 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting day. We have 10 chefs preparing to square off for the title of the 2023 Chili Cookoff Champion. We have 20 vendors filling up the Nationwide building for the Winterfest craft Fair. We are totally full for entry into the Chili Cookoff and the Craft Fair vendors. The 4 person Smoosh Races and the 3 person out house teams still have lots of space so register today.

Skating Club will be cooking up Calzones and hotdogs, and the Chase Grads will be cooking up hamburgers and making coco.

The winning Mascot name was chosen by the Lions Members as “Winterfest Willy” thanks to Debbie Kalinin.

The Fabulous Frannie Connett will be baking up a storm this week for the cookie decorating, there will be crafts galore for kids at both the community hall and the Tru Value building. We will be having a cake walk right on Shuswap Ave at 12 noon. The Shuswap reply to our Facebook page the Bring a Champion” another group

Festivities start at 10 am and continue through till 3pm. Spend the day uptown, plan your lunch uptown, help the local clubs and grads fundraise by purchasing your lunch uptown. It’s going to be a great day. Come on out, bring your lawn chair uptown at noon, eat, drink, watch the cake walk, followed by Smoosh racing, then the inaugural Outhouse races. It’s going to be a Winterfest you won’t forget. See you there
