Pump Track Ready to Ride!

It’s ready! Chase Youth Action Committee is excited to share that our most recent project is complete and ready to ride! This spring Youth Action teamed up with a dedicated group of volunteers to construct a small pump track to help young mountain bikers gain skill and experience.

A pump track is a closed loop of rollers and banked turns allowing riders to propel themselves simply by ‘pumping’ instead of pedaling, teaching riders how to interact with various downhill terrain.

While we await placement of signage and a garbage can from the Village, the track is open from dawn till dusk and is located behind Art Holding Memorial Arena, along school field.

Youth Action is grateful for the overwhelming support of the residents and business of the village of Chase, as well as support from mayor, council, and administration of the Village of Chase. To all those who gave financially to support this project, thank you!

Chase Youth Action would like to particularly thank the businesses that gave significant donations that made this project a reality. A deep thank you to Levi’s Yard Services, Team Equipment, Just Ask Rentals, Ken Carlin Trucking, CIF Construction and Home Hardware. Because of the amazing volunteer support and the support of Chase’s business community, we were able to complete this project significantly under budget!

With this project complete, Youth Action is continuing to work to extend our mountain biking infrastructure here in Chase to provide opportunities for healthy, active, and social activities for the youth of Chase.
