Hotels Avila Beach Hotel’s Transformation
RENOVATION
The name change of The Avila Hotel to the Avila Beach Hotel and the two private beach renovations were just the beginning of the The Avila Beach Hotel’s Metamorphosis. The Avila Beach Hotel has continued making some changes by renovating their La Belle Alliance Suites and calling them La Belle Alliance Apartments, since they have fully equipped kitchens and are perfect for families or for longer stays. The Avila Beach Hotel also made two adjustment in the names of their room types in order to make it easier for the Travel Agents and Tour Operators. They changed Blues Deluxe Room into Ocean Front Blues Rooms, to make it more obvious that it is all about the ocean view there. The last but not least of the changes that The Avila Beach Hotel made for now, is converting their tennis court into 44 extra parking spaces, as of June 6th, 2016. Website: www.avilahotel.com

The Dive Bus Curaçao: Adopts Pierbaai and Car Pile The Dive Bus is thrilled to announce that they have officially adopted the Pierbaai Reef and Car Pile at Marie Pampoen, Curaçao, making them the first Project AWARE dive operator at Adopt a Dive Site in Curaçao. Project AWARE Adopt a Dive Site, is a campaign that ”aims to involve dive centers and resorts around the world in ongoing protection and monitoring of their favorite underwater playgrounds”. Through this project the divers clean up the bay in and before properly disposing the trash, they will log it and share the data with Project AWARE in order for them to create trash maps, identify key areas of concern and monitor the change in order to help protect the marine life.
