Acoya Curaçao Resort, Spa & Villas to become All Inclusive As part of its renovations and development plans, the Acoya Curaçao Resort, Spa & Villas will become an All Inclusive Resort as of December 1st, 2017, and will present an upscale product to its clients coming from all over the world. Avila Beach Hotel: most accessible hotel on Curaçao During last month’s Curaçao Inclusion Award and Benefit Concert, Avila Beach Hotel won the award for Most Accessible Hotel on Curaçao. The hotel won after an extensive audit by Alton Paas Foundation. Avila’s Belle Terrace Restaurant was also nominated as one of the most accessible restaurants on the island. The entire Avila Beach Hotel, including its pool, restaurants and wellness area is completely wheelchair accessible. Hotels Morena Eco Resort completes expansion
EXPANSION
Morena Eco Resort has completely finished their expansion. Since March 2017 the new 1-, 2- and 4- bedroom apartments and villas are open, in addition to the already existing 2- and 3 bedroom apartments and villas. Also a complete new pool area, existing out of 2 pools has been added. to the property. These pools are just like the previously existing pool and children’s pool, existing out of salt water. In total the resort now has 99 apartments & villas available for her guests. In addition to this, Morena Eco Resort also has a new restaurant. Restaurant Mocca has opened its ‘doors’ since the beginning of August. Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort introduces Fuik Curaçao’s AAA Four Diamond-rated Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort unveiled a new event venue in September 2017: Fuik. Named after its location in the island’s Fuik neighborhood, this large scale outdoor space is unlike anything else previously available at the resort and unique to comparable hotel properties around the destination. Scuba Lodge Restaurant brings Indonesia to Curaçao Scuba Lodge Oceanfront Bar & Restaurant is bringing a taste of Indonesia to Curaçao! Last month, the restaurant launched Scuba Lounge Club Satay; a weekly recurring event during which guests can hang out in the lounge area while enjoying refreshing watermelon infused mojitos from the Bacardi pop-up bar. Every Sunday, from 4-7pm, guest chef Ronald Añes prepares traditional sateh ajam (chicken satay) using an old family recipe that has been passed down for generations. Scuba Lodge Dive Center’s new Scuba Bus Scuba Lodge Dive Center converts School Bus into Scuba Bus Scuba Lodge Dive Center has refurbished an old American school bus and transformed it into a stylish scuba bus. From their central location in Pietermaai, the dive instructors drive their guests in the spacious bus to the most stunning dive sites of Curaçao. The bus has been spray painted bright red with a white diagonal stripe running across it, which will be instantly recognizable by all scuba divers as the scuba-flag. Scuba Lodge led an online campaign during which people could suggest, and later, vote on a name. The winning name 'Scuba Bus' as well as the dive center's logo will be painted onto the bus.The Scuba Bus can comfortably seat 30 people and offers plenty of space to store dive equipment.
