LIBERAL ARTS PROGRAM OF STUDY
MISSION Chattanooga Christian School (CCS), founded in 1970 to serve the children of Christian parents, is a comprehensive PreK through 12th grade school serving 1320+ students. CCS serves a diverse population of students, with programs and support staff for a range of student abilities. Our students develop their creative and physical gifts through a rich array of athletic and fine arts opportunities. CCS’s mission is to prepare students to lead and serve with distinction while representing Christ and seeking his Kingdom in all areas of the home, church, society, and culture. Our Faculty consists of teachers who demonstrate mastery of instructional practice and content and a passion for lifelong learning. Of our 111 Upper School faculty and administration, 61% have earned advanced degrees. The school is dually accredited by SAIS and AdvancED, is approved by the Tennessee Department of Education, and is a member of Christian Schools International (CSI).
