What Can a CHC Graduate Do with a Degree in CIS or CIT? Students can embark on a variety of careers in computer-related fields, such as computer programmers, database administrators, Web/ multimedia developers, digital forensic examiners, and management information systems specialists. Students who pursue the combined program can also follow a career in instructional technology.

Why Study Computer Sciences and Information Technology at CHC? The Computer and Information Sciences depar tment offers a variety of concentrations within the Computer and Information Technology major including: • • • •

Digital Forensics Management Information Systems Programming Web/multimedia design

A combined Undergraduate Program in CIS/CIT and Graduate Program in Instructional Technology is available for students who wish to begin a graduate degree while completing their undergraduate coursework. All students participate in an internship which provides them with important hands-on experience. Outstanding students are invited to participate in the Departmental Honors Program.

Learning Advantages at CHC? Our Computer and Information Technology major offers concentrations, most notably in Digital Forensics which is unique to this area. The Department Lab provides students in the department with a place to study alone or together, to meet other students in the department, and to explore with classmates what is happening in the world of technology. Classes are small so students receive personalized attention. The required internship provides students with experience that will prepare them for a career when they graduate. Students can complete an undergraduate degree in either Computer and Information Sciences or Computer and Information Technology while beginning a graduate degree in Instructional Technology.
