Street Children, Transportation, Agriculture, Sanitation, etc. Cambodia is facing numerous social problems. Cambodia is a country located in Southeast Asia. With a population of over 15 million, Cambodia is the 70th most populous country in the world. Because Cambodia been affected by war factor for a long time, its economy development is relatively slower than other countries. Just like other Developing Countries, street children, sex transaction, transportation, agriculture, etc. Numerous social problems are waiting for governments’ and international’s help. We went to the local rural area, experienced local daily life, preceded social observation and then undertook to kick off the design project, which promote quality in their environment.

15 Problem
Toilets and local Health Toilets are high correlation to local inhabitants’ health. The excrement on the ground is appealing for pests. Most these pests have contagious diseases, The diseases and bacteria would conduct through our oral so that people throw up, get sick or any uncomfortable symptom. Because local rural does not have any toilet, they cannot understand how use toilets, and they don’t have awareness of toilets’ necessity. Therefore, we not only design the suitable, available toilets for local but also teach inhabitants how to use toilets correctly.

16 Solution Eco- toilets First step, we stacked red tiles and wood truck as the foundation of the toilets. Second, stirring red sand, cement powder and water into liquid cement, and then cover on the tiles for building stair and base. Third, cutting bamboos, pining each fragment together could make the skeleton of walls and following step is weaving palm leaves on the bamboo skeleton, this wall could shelter the toilets, protect them from attack of wind and rain. Successfully, we utilized local limit resource and built up useful and beautiful toilets.

18 Solution The correct concept is as much important as the toilets After the toilets completed, we arrange a drama for inhabitants and village head in order to educate them how to use the toilets correctly. The drama told them the process of using toilets: 1. Carry water when enter the toilets 2. Shut the door 3. Pour water to ush excrement away 4. Use soap to wash hands. There is much interaction between the inhabitants and us in the drama. In the end, we invited them to show how to use toilets correctly. In the course of the drama, we saw their smile, that scene was pretty touching. We indeed improved the local’s habit and environment.

24 Insight
Humanity is the key of designing robots. The elemental difference between Robots and Machine is the “Human” factor, in other words, human want to create a machine with real humanity. From the perspective of sociology, people enjoy being helped by others, people enjoy being concerned by someone, and people like to communicate with others because we are social animals. As a consequence, we walk into the following crowds for observing the connection between people, and insight into the need of designing our robot. We want to design the robot, which could warm people’s heart.

Business card connects our contacts Each business card is an individual icon for each person, because it expresses ourselves detail and feature to others, which we want to reveal. Everyday there are 1/20 people would exchange their business card to others. It just likes a networking, each individual is a point, the line connects point-to-point is business cards. We design an APP for people exchanging their card by mobile devices. 44 Event We couldn’t give students competitiveness . In Taiwan, our students grow up in a high- pressure education system, which always focus on test and score. Taiwan’s economic development and sustainability rely on the technology industry, as a result, more education resources spend on science and engineering field. However, it always lack of space and incentives of their creativity and imagination. From the viewpoint of education, we cannot promote our technology advantage at all.
Coding is an integral part of basic education. Many governments have been aware that coding is a great channel of logic training and creativity inspiration, so that western countries included programming in the basic course for every kid. That’s a world trend. From another perspective, in order to prevent our kids being controlled by technology, coding is a great head of learning how to manipulate and utilize technology.

Logic Teaching Random Number concept- Ninja’s trick Multiple shadow avatars is kind of Ninjatsu. We teach children define a random number and set the margin of its scale in the code, they can create numerous Ninja object immediately- a lot of Ninja suddenly appears on the screen inregularly.
Variable concept- Change Game’s balance We would demo a game which is hard for accomplishing the mission. After every student had played once, we told them that they can glance the inside code and adjust specific number for making the game easier. They changed the frequency, speed, boss’s HP, role’s HP, power of bullets, etc. After that, we explain the number they adjusted was” Variable”- a number could be set and change.
Function concept- Package what created Put something in, and come something out. That’s the “Function”. Children had completed some logic training missions before this stage. We just help them package what they have created and duplicate on identical objects. We metaphor function as a factory, which help them create the action they wish to.
