Shake Your Tail Feathers Pattern inspired by plumage


NATURAL BEAUTY Poultry and pigeons may not be the first thing that come to mind when we think of beauty, but these birds I saw at the 159th annual Rockton World Fair immediately grabbed my attention. It was the undeniable allure of their colorful plumage. I was so inspired by their natural beauty that I used their images to design my own patterns; some are clearly inspired by feathers, others are not so obvious. My intention was to create pattern that, like the birds themselves, exhibits a uniquely graceful style. Lila Cheekytree
