How to write your PERSONAL STATEMENT KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER ÎÎ Be selective: You don’t have to try and say EVERYTHING about yourself. Less information can make a stronger message. ÎÎ There are several key ingredients that should be included (See later sections), but feel free to include extra or different information if you feel it makes you SoP stronger. ÎÎ Choose a strong opening – first impressions are important! ÎÎ Write in clear paragraphs. ÎÎ Write strong topic sentences for each paragraph – don’t make the reader guess what the paragraph will be about. ÎÎ Pay attention to spelling and grammar. ÎÎ Don’t write with an ‘emotional’ style, be passionate about your intention, but keep your language calm, neutral and academic.

ขั้นตอนการตรวจ IOM

1. ทำ� Online registration ผ่านเว็ปไซต์ของ IOM ประเทศไทย

2. เดินทางไปที่ อาคารเกษมกิจ ชั้น 8 ถนนสีลม บางรัก กรุงเทพฯ 10500 โดยขึ้น BTS ไปลงที่สถานี ศาลาแดง ประตู 3 สังเกตตรงตึก CP จะอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้ามกับอาคารเกษมกิจ (ตึกสีดำ�ๆ)

3. ทำ�การลงทะเบียนกับเจ้าหน้าที่ IOM ทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะให้เอกสารมากรอกและรอเรียกตามคิว ให้อ่าน ใบ Consent และเซ็นชื่อรับรองตรวจสอบ ชื่อ นามสกุล หมายเลขพาสปอร์ต ให้ถูกต้อง

4. เลือกโรงพยาบาลที่จะไปตรวจมี 2 โรงพยาบาลให้เลือกคือ พญาไท 2 กับ กรุงเทพคริสเตียน (แนะนำ� โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพคริสเตียน เพราะตั้งอยู่ห่างจากอาคารเกษมกิจเพียง 200 เมตร ซึ่งสามารถเดิน

ได้ ไม่ต้องขึ้น BTS)

5. ไปตรวจสุขภาพตามโรงพยาบาลที่เลือกไว้ รอรับฟิล์ม X-Ray (ห้ามแกะซองออกเด็ดขาดเพราะจะ ทำ�ให้ฟิล์มเสียและใช้ไม่ได้)

6. นำ�ฟิลม์ X-Ray กลับมาที่ IOM ให้เจ้าหน้าที่เพื่อให้คุณหมอตรวจฟิลม์เอกซ์เรย์

7. ถ้าปอดไม่มีปัญหาทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะออกใบรับรองให้ ชื่อว่า IOM Medical Certificate

8. ถ้าปอดมีปัญหาต้องไปตรวจเสมหะต่อที่กองควบคุมวัณโรค ถนนเจริญกรุง 85 ขั้นตอนนี้อาจจะใช้

เวลานานถึง 3 เดือน แต่หากไม่พบกองควบคุมวัณโรคจะส่งผลไปให้ทาง IOM และจะนัดให้ไปฟังผล ถ้าไม่มีปัญหา ทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะออกใบรับรองให้

หมายเหตุ : ระยะเวลาในการรอผลการพิจารณาวีซ่าใช้เวลา 15 วันทำ�การ ในกรณีที่ยื่นด่วนใช้เวลา 3 - 5

วันทำ�การ โดยที่ผู้สมัครจะต้องชำ�ระค่าบริการยื่นด่วน 5,200 บาท ที่วีเอฟเอส โดยชำ�ระเป็นเงินสด ขั้นตอนที่ 3 สมัครวีซ่าที่ศูนย์ยื่นคำ�ร้องขอวีซ่าของสหราชอาณาจักร

5. หนังสือเดินทางฉบับเดิม (ถ้ามี) 1 ชุด

6. ภาพถ่ายจำ�นวน 1 ใบ ตรวจสอบมาตรฐานรูปถ่าย (35 x 45 มิลลิเมตร) และมีพื้นหลังสีขาว

7. Course Offer จากทางมหาวิทยาลัย

8. CAS Statement เพื่อใช้ในการสมัครวีซ่า (มหาวิทยาลัยจะออกให้ล่วงหน้า 3 เดือน

9. หลักฐานทางการเงินที่มีจำ�นวนเงินครอบคลุมค่าเรียนและค่าครองชีพ 9 เดือน (9,135 GBP สำ�หรับผู้ ที่เรียนนอกลอนดอนและ 11,385 GBP สำ�หรับผู้ที่เรียนในลอนดอน

10. ในกรณีที่นักเรียนเป็นผู้เยาว์อายุต่ำ�กว่า 18 ปี จะต้องมีหนังสือยินยอมให้ผู้เยาว์เดินทางซึ่งต้องแนบ

หลักฐานสูติบัตร บัตรประชาชน ทะเบียนบ้าน ทะเบียนหย่า/ทะเบียนสมรสของผู้ปกครองเพื่อเป็นการ

11. ในกรณีมีบุคคลอื่น เช่น ผู้ปกครอง ญาติพี่น้อง หรือหน่วยงาน เป็นผู้ออกค่าใช้จ่ายในการเรียนให้ ควร มีหนังสือรับรองดังต่อไปนี้ เช่น หนังสือรับรองบุตรหรือหนังสือชี้แจงความสัมพันธ์ หนังสือรับรองการ

ทำ�งานของผู้ที่สนับสนุนค่าใช้จ่าย หรือ หนังสือรับรองจากองค์กรนั้นๆ หลักฐานทางการเงิน สูติบัตร

บัตรประชาชน ทะเบียนบ้าน หนังสือจดทะเบียนการค้า (กรณีที่ประกอบธุรกิจส่วนตัว) และเอกสารที่

เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพิจารณาวีซ่า

12. เอกสารทั้งหมดที่ใช้ยื่นสมัครเรียน เช่น Transcript, Graduate Certificate, IELTS หนังสือรับรองการ ทำ�งาน

13. ผลการตรวจเชื้อวัณโรค (TB Certificate) โดย IOM สำ�หรับผู้ยื่นคำ�ร้องขอวีซ่าทุกประเภทใน ประเทศไทยที่ประสงค์จะพำ�นักในสหราชอาณาจักร นานกว่า 6 เดือน

14. ใบนัดหมาย Online เพื่อเข้ายื่นเอกสาร – นัดหมายออนไลน์

ÎÎ จดหมาย Financial Support Confirmation Letter บัตรประชาชน พร้อมสำ�เนาที่เซ็นรับรอง

ÎÎ สำ�เนาถูกต้อง และแจ้งว่าเป็นหลักฐานสำ�หรับนักเรียนคนไหนด้วย 2.2) เลขที่บัญชีและชนิดของบัญชี

2.3) ยอดเงินคงเหลือเป็นตัวเลข (ควรเป็น SAVING ACCOUNT)

2.4) หน่วยเป็นปอนด์ (GBP) และ หน่วยเป็นบาท (THB) และอัตราแลกเปลี่ยน

2.5) ระบุว่ายอดเงินดังกล่าวอยู่ในบัญชีมา ณ วันที่ออกหลักฐานทางการเงินอย่างน้อย 28 วัน เช่น Remarks: The minimum balance of XXXX THB or XXXX GBP has been maintained in this account since 10/04/2014 (a minimum of 28 days).
