Introduction As per the announcement made on August 10, 2021, from the NTA, the UGC NET 2021 exam registration has been initiated on the same day of the notification. Along with this notification, the admit card and exam dates are also been announced. The exam will be conducted from 6th October 2021 to 11th October 2021. The exams for the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions are to be conducted on these same dates. The candidates must register for the UGC- NET before the allocated time to participate in the exam. The candidates need not register again if they have registered for December 2020 session. The Application Process for the UGC- NET exam has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the application process has begun from 10th August 2021 to 5th September 2021. The exam is a Computer Based Test mode (CBT) and there is no change regarding the syllabus for the UGC- NEET.


CBSE UGC NET Eligibility Criteria Nationality Candidates must be Indian Citizens Qualification •The Candidate must have finished a Master’s degree from an aggregated Institution or the University of India. •The General/ Unreserved Candidate must be scored a minimum of 55% marks. He/ she should get a minimum score of 50% if the candidate belongs to Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD). •The Candidates who had completed masters by 19th September 1991 will also have a relaxation of 5% marks in UGC- NET. •Candidates who are pursuing the final year in masters are also eligible for applying UGC- NET Age •The Maximum Age Limit for the candidates who apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 30yrs. But it has been increased to 31 years in 2021. •There is no maximum Age Limit for the candidates who apply for Assistant Professor.

The UGC- NET has two different papers which are conducted online by National Testing Agency for 3hours. The NTA has published the syllabus for UGC- NET 2021 officially. The First paper which is also known as the general paper which focuses on testing the candidate’s ability on General awareness whereas the Second paper focuses on the selected subject by the candidates. The general and the specific subject Paper’s syllabus can be downloaded from the official website for the National Eligibility Test. Syllabus for General Paper General Paper/ Paper- I consist of the following subjects •Research Aptitude •Teaching Aptitude •Reading Comprehension •Mathematical Reasoning •Communication •Logical Reasoning •Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The exam pattern for UGC -NET defines the time duration of the exam, the number of questions asked and further details. CBSE UGC NET Admit Card

The release date of Admit Card has not been announced by the National Testing Agency yet. The possible release date of admit card for the UGC- NET exam will be at the last week of September 2021, a week before the exam. The admit card notification will be received at the website of UGC- NET. The candidate is asked to bring the hard copy of the Admit Card to the allocated exam centre compulsorily. The printed copy must be in the A4 sheet and the candidate must bring identity proof with the Admit Card. Steps to download the Admit Card for UGC- NET 2021 •On the official website of UGC- NET, click the release of Admit Card notification. •You will be redirected to the Admit Card portal where you should log in to enter. •Log in by clicking submit after entering the Application number, password and captcha. •After logging in, you can able to see the Admit card. •Click download to save the admit card to your device in a PDF format. •You can take multiple printouts for safety reasons.


CBSE UGC NET Result The Result for UGC- NET exam will be released on the last week of October after the release of the Answer key one week prior. The publication of the result will be notified on the official website of UGC- NET by NTA. The mark sheet won’t be published by the NTA but you can download the softcopy of the result on the website.

How to Check the CBSE UGC NET Result? Here are the steps you have to follow for checking and downloading the Result for UGC- NET 2021, •Visit the Official website for UGC- NET. •Click on the “View results for UGC- NET 2021” option, the page will be redirected. •Log in using the application number, D0B, password and captcha in the redirected page and click submit. •Now, the result will be displayed on the screen, you can view and download the results published. According to the University Grants Commission (UGC) instruction, the candidate has to obtain marks to the required cut off for 2021 to qualify for the NET exam.


How To Apply? The registration link has been published on August 10, 2021, on the official website of NTA. The Candidates are asked to register using the details and documents asked on the website. The Registration day started on August 10, 2021. The end date for registration is September 5, 2021. The last date for correcting the registration form is September 7, 2021. Steps to apply for UGC- NET exam online •Click on the “apply for UGC- NET 2021” on the NTA’s official website •Now, your site will be redirected. Fill the Register form using the details asked. •The important details that are to be filled in are, 1.Candidate’s basic details 2.DOB 3.Contact details 4.Category and Disability 5.EWS (Economic Backwardness) 6.Address 7.Examination centre preferred (The centres could be changed by NTA) 8.Subject choice •You must upload your recent photograph and a signature. •Now click submit and it will redirect to the payment gateway. •Pay the required registration fee amount as defined by the NTA for different categories.
