Introduction • Chhattisgarh PSC, known as Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission or CGPSC, is a state-level civil service exam administrated by the CGPSC that is Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. CGPSC conducts the exam to fulfil the vacancies of the Chhattisgarh government. The main purpose behind this competitive exam is to recruit exceptional candidates for the state and subordinate of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh State Service Exam is one of the highest state-level exams where many candidates apply for the exam. CGPSC has released the official notification of the CGPSC 2021 exam, and the mode of the Chhattisgarh PSC preliminary exam and mains exam will be online. • The CGPSC preliminary exam consists of two papers in which the first paper is for 200 marks with a total of 100 questions and the second paper is also for 200 marks with a total of 100 questions. The first paper is divided into two parts, namely Part A and Part B, where each part contains 50 questions. Now talking about the Chhattisgarh PSC 2021 mains exam, which consists of seven papers with 200 marks for each paper, and the duration for each paper is 3 hours. • Age Limit: • The minimum age limit for the CGPSC candidate is 21, and the maximum age limit is 29 in accordance with month and year. The age relaxation for the permanent domicile of Chhattisgarh is expected up to 5 years, and it is the same for the widow on her first appointment and the defence personnel & disabled candidates; it’s 3 years. And the age relaxation for the OBC/ST/SC candidate is expected up to 5 years. • Nationality: • Nationality plays a vital role in eligibility criteria when it comes to the state PSC exams. CGPSC Exam Syllabus • Chhattisgarh state service exam is a highly competitive exam held under Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Chhattisgarh PSC), and that’s why the candidate should go carefully through the syllabus created by the officials of Chhattisgarh PSC. The Chhattisgarh PSC conducts two exams for the Chhattisgarh state Service exam. The first exam is prelim, and another one is known as the Mains exam. Syllabus for both the paper is different. CGPSC Exam Pattern • In the prelim exam, Chhattisgarh PSC conducts two papers, and in the mains exam, CGPSC conducts seven papers. • The first prelim exam paper will be having 100 objective-type questions for 200 marks, and the second prelim paper consists of 100 questions for 200 marks. • These all questions will be Multiple Choice questions, and the time duration for both the paper will be two hours each. • The CGPSC mains exam paper comes with seven papers named as, • Language, • Essay, • History, Constitution and Public administration • Science, Technology and environment. • Economics and Geography • Mathematics and Logical ability • Philosophy and Sociology • The time duration for each paper of CGPSC will be three hours and each paper will be for 200 marks.
CGPSC Exam Admit Card • To appear for the exam, candidates have to download the admit card for the Chhattisgarh PSC exam and for that, candidates have to check out the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Chhattisgarh PSC) website. If candidates have already registered themselves on the official portal of Chhattisgarh PSC, then they will have their log in details. Once a candidate visits the Chhattisgarh PSC website, they need to enter their login credentials to get the printout of the admit card, and that admit card will give the information of the exam center, exam date, and exam timing to the candidate. To appear for the CGPSC exam, candidates must have their own admit card; without that, candidates can not appear for the CGPSC exam. It is always great to have at least two copies of admit card while appearing for the CGPSC exam.
CGPSC Exam Result • To check the prelim and mains exam results, candidates have to visit the official website of Chhattisgarh PSC, i.e., http://psc.cg.gov.in/. Recently CGPSC conducted the mains exam in July 2021, but the result is yet to be released. Once it gets released, the candidate can check that result on the CGPSC website. To check the result the student can follow these steps: • Visit the main website of KTET. • Click on “Teacher’s corner” at the top of the page. It is a dropdown menu. • A list will appear. The list will have links to all the results posts. • Click on the link you want to visit. • A new page will open. The students can check their results.
How To Apply? • Opening: To register, the aspirant needs to visit the official website of Chhattisgarh PSC- http://www.psc.cg.gov.in/ and need to look for the “Online Application.” Now click on that option and look for the exam the candidate wants to appear in. After this, click on the second link that is “Click here to Register and Apply Online For..” Now click on the next step and register yourself. • Registration: Now submit all your details and provide your valid email id and mobile number. Application number and log in id information will be sent to the registered phone number. Keep that application number safe for further use. • Upload documents: After completing the registration process of CGPSC, candidates have to upload the required documents, such as scanned photographs and scanned signatures, on the official portal of Chhattisgarh. So candidates must be ready with their scanned documents. • Payment of application: After uploading the scanned documents on the CGPSC website, the candidate is now eligible to make their payment as per their category.
